  3. no I really don't. My addictions are pretty standard iced coffee, cigs, beers on the weekend etc. Has anyone seen the show My Strange Addiction on TLC? I saw one where the brod was addicted to dressing up like a horse lol and another was addicted to eating her mattress

    1. @Derek Or the guy who is addicted to dressing as a mer-man and swims in a lake all day?

    2. Or the one with the lady who eats Comet? Or the one with the lady who eats cotton balls?

@Sugar - I get the cotton balls one - soaked in orange juice, they fill the stomach up nicely. Beats getting fat through eating.

    1. Me tooo! I am somehow completely enamoured with the mix of sex, violence, humor, mystery, and a shit ton of more sex. All of the supernatural stuff and group sex is redonk, and yet I own every book. It is my shame.

  7. I use about 4-5 mega and meta search engines to look up stuff. I go to other countries search engines daily to find stuff-ergo, I just recieved 2 awesome cashmere sweaters from the UK. I buy (shame on me), a lot of stuff direct from Asia. Also, from Australia. I buy almost everything online, excluding food, well pistachio nuts from Amazon...

  10. Really OT but we had to put our dog Chewy to sleep this morning. He was such an amazing dog but the lymphoma got the best of him.

    2. Understand your pain AJ. A few years back I had to put my 14 year old Mini Schnauzer down. Stood there at the counter that morning and watched him be walked into the back. As he was going through the door he looked back at me. Went home and had one of the worst days of my life.

    3. Ohhhh. So sad. Sorry. Hugs to all furry guardians. Losing your companion without a way to say a proper goodbye is just so hard. And making the decision, for THEIR benefit, is even harder. Hugs all around.

    4. I lost a couple of dogs to that. My sympathies to you, its heartbreaking when our furry friends go.

    5. Aww, I'm sorry AJ. And I'm sorry for you too, Harry. Really. That made me sad.

AJ, I'm so sorry for your loss. My dogs are my life and whenever I lose one it's like losing a child (they are my children, really), so I am feeling very sad for you right now. Your pooch is in a better place now ... disease-free, running around God's garden, with an endless supply of bones. Kia kaha x

Awwww Harry - that made me tear up ... please see it as him thanking you - nothing else. A few years ago my precious Great Dane-Labrador cross went running across a neighbouring paddock, and onto a main road, in pursuit of a rabbit and was killed instantly by an oncoming truck. I bawled for days on end ... she was only four (human years) and was so precious :-( I've lost other dogs through illness which is very, very hard but with Lola I feel like I let her down somehow ... I should never had let her out of my sight (and didn't usually, except for this one time).

    1. Fake Count really pushed that score up - I think when you say something a tad off-colour readers do a quick profile check. So I guess Fakie Fakester Count's evil plans to make you less popular really backfired there.

  12. Sorry to hear about your pooch, AJ. At least his suffering stopped.

  18. The one where the lady eats Comet was amazing. Afterward, I sniffed it and thought 'nope!'

I guess I fret a lot when I find an eyebrow hair that needs to be plucked but I don't have tweezers.

So sorry, AJ. Love and hugs, that is one of the hardest things to go through.

  19. The site is def my worst addiction, have given up time for other sites for this one....have been a lurker since the beginning, and have even read many threads to my husband, now I post, he thinks I'm def sick. I think of you bloggers - Sugar, you've been making me laugh lots lately.
    I'm definitely one sick puppy.
Mucho thanks you bunch of enablers!

    Hugs to our furry friends.

  20. AJ - Hugs!!! Such an awful moment when you have to put a pet down. Did he have a long life? Think of the good times with your dog!

On to addictions: Well, I'm in the throes of potty training so I wanted to start drinking at about 10 a.m. Is that wrong?

I am addicted to J. Crew, shoes and jewelry. But I label that as a collection rather than an addiction.

Also addicted to CDAN, and coffee.

I do feel like a hoarder right now because I'm trying to get rid of shit and it's so damn hard. I'm holding on to all of this baby and maternity stuff in the hopes that I will get another bun in the oven. But, it ain't happening. My husband thinks if I donate it all I will totally get knocked up. In addition, I am a good 10 pounds lighter than before I got knocked up the first time. So I'm hanging on to all of that stuff, too. I so need Tim Gunn, Isaac Mizrahi and Clinton Kelly to get over here and help me. Where are my gays?!?!?!

    1. Yes susan, get rid of baby stuff. Get on exercise plan. Plan a trip. Plan on redecorating. Any of these will get that egg and sperm on a meet and greet, lol

  28. Thanks all.
Your kind words help on what has been one of my hardest days to get through. Luckily my dog touched many peoples lives. I have spent the day with good friends and drinks in hand, telling tales of Chewy's younger days.

  29. Like finding him on top of our kitchen table as a puppy trying to devour a whole pizza.

  34. I'm so sorry to hear that, AJ, at least Chewy isn't in pain any longer

I have a weird addiction for watching, and reading about, the Beverly Hills Housewives. Dunno why - I can honestly say that I wouldn't want any of them as friends in real life. And their drama is very high schoolish ... but nevertheless it's entertaining!

I also love Melrose Place ... always have and always will ... the original and the reboot. I collect little things here and there ... scripts, tee shirts, mugs, DVDs ... my New Zealand house has a tribute room full of the stuff.

  36. @Plum Grey: Thanks. It is an honor to be on your list.

@Alita: Yeah, I went from 6k to like 12k in a couple weeks. Fake Count doesn't appear to be big on thinking things through. Typical twunce.
