Dean McDermott In Sex Rehab And About To Be Sued

2014 hasn't started off very well for Dean McDermott. Not only was he busted for cheating on Tori Spelling the week before Christmas but apparently has been trying to fix their marriage by attending outpatient rehab for sex addiction. This seems to be the standby for all men in Hollywood who are caught cheating but don't want to give up the money from their marriage. It is also a convenient way to explain away any other cheating scandals that might pop up. I'm kind of shocked that no one on Chopped Canada has come forward with any stories. There must be some female staffer or production assistant on the show he hit on or flirted with or who he cheated with who wants to make a quick buck.

Speaking of Chopped Canada, Dean is facing some trouble on that front. Because he is the host he must know something about cooking right? Well, some idiotic publisher paid the guy a $250K advance for a cookbook and according to TMZ he stiffed everyone who helped him with the book. So far TMZ has found people owed about $60K who helped on the book. That money has to be paid by Dean. I'm sure he thinks he can probably pay them out of the profits of the cookbook but it is going to take a long time, if ever before the book earns back enough money to pay everyone. I just don't see the demand for the book. Are you going to rush out and buy a cookbook featuring Dean? Is that something you want people to see on your shelves? The reason the show is popular in Canada is the same reason it is popular here. The format. I love Ted Allen but I don't watch Chopped because of him. At least if he wrote a cookbook though I would believe he actually made the recipes in the book. You know, because he has been a chef rather than a failed made for television movie actor.
