Blind Items Revealed
July 19, 2013
This former A list athlete who is still an A list celebrity, is trying to make a comeback. He is also trying to doge a lawsuit involving one of his businesses. A man ended up with two broken legs at the celebrity's gym, due to faulty equipment. The staff kicked the man out and made him walk to the doctor. In response, the athlete said wasn't concerned and only cares about making sure he gets paid and that the guy was probably faking his injuries to get money from the athlete.
Alex Rodriguez
It's projection, you know that, right A-Rod?
ReplyDeleteProjection? The psychological concept? *scratches head*
ReplyDeleteIf he has two broken legs, how did he walk to the doctor?
ReplyDeleteFreya, I imagine they were hairline fractures. I've seen athletes complete rigorous games and competitions with broken limbs.
DeleteHe makes $30 million a year he doesn't care even if this item is true (prolly not)
ReplyDeleteI always picture his painting of him as a centaur when I hear his name and giggle.
ReplyDeletehow do u walk with 2 broken legs?
ReplyDeleteThat guy should have traded out his settlement for Alex's new personal training sessions. They are called "Sit on the bench and clench" and they are FANTASTIC.
ReplyDelete@freya, i would think, not very well or quickly. That's for sure LOL
ReplyDeleteA man with 2 broken legs was able to walk to the doctor? Then I agree the staff called it. He was probably faking his injuries to get money.
ReplyDeleteWhat a dog. I mean doge.

Delete^^with great difficulty & much pain?
ReplyDeleteWell we called bs on this back in the day six months ago.
ReplyDeleteSeems like the Karma Fairies caught up with him in the end.
ReplyDelete@Freya and Jodi: Very carefully

ReplyDeleteAlso ARod is NOT a former A list ahlete trying to make a comeback.
ReplyDeleteYes, he is a crooked bastage so he thinks everyone else is a crooked cheating bastage too
ReplyDeletedid he walk to his lawyers office on his two broken legs too? Total BS
ReplyDeleteYou could walk with hairline fractures. It wouldn't be pleasant, but it's possible.
ReplyDeletealso did he not have a phone? if i had broken both my legs i'd be calling an ambulance!
ReplyDeleteAh cool, TTM. I have no idea who the hell he is aside from a dating love rat.
ReplyDeleteI broke my leg and walked on it for a week before I went to the doctor. By that time I was in so much pain I knew something was very wrong with it. I couldn't imagine walking on two legs that felt like that though. To give this guy the benefit of the doubt, maybe he had hairline fractures?
ReplyDeleteI continued playing a gig onstage with a broken leg and only 2 pre-show drinks under my belt. This included moshing, stage dive and jumping around
ReplyDeleteBody can go into shock
And I've got high pain tolerance
Have fun w reveals : I'm off to the gym (nearly 6 am) xxxxxx
It's inconceivable that the guy didn't at least call a cab. This is fiction.
ReplyDeleteReno that is the best gift I have ever received. ARod will never be the same.
ReplyDeleteas someone who used to work in insurance investigation you have no idea the lengths people will go to, to sue and/or collect insurance payouts
ReplyDeleteI once worked with a guy who tore a ligament in his leg while playing softball. He drank like a fish to dull the pain. Went into his oil trucking job and walked behind some barrels and did a prat fall so he could claim disability.
Even if A-Rod is sued the company insurance will cover it he wouldn't be liable personally.
Not a broken leg, but I walked around on a torn Achilles tendon for four days because I thought it was just part of the pain syndrome I normally deal with. My son broke his arm (hairline) skiing and had to drive himself to the hospital. You do what you have to. I suspect this man sustained hairline fractures, not complete breaks.
ReplyDeleteGuy sounds like a gold digger.
ReplyDeleteWhat a poor excuse for a human ARod is. UGH.

ReplyDeleteBaseball players are notorious for being colossal sphinchters
ReplyDeleteI broke my right wrist reducing it to a mass of fractures in a motorcycle accident. I had to strap and wrap it with a left hand wrist brace ( nice and backwards) and drive my stick shift through stop and go tunnel traffic to the nearest Doc in a box. You do what you gotta do and truthfully, I didn't know I broke it. I thought I broke a bone in the back of my hand since a goose egg swelled up from my pinky to my pointer finger.
ReplyDeleteMore than likely the guy just wrapped a brace on his legs thinking he strained them using the equipment and went to a doctor when it didn't get better.
A-Rod is the definition of A-List athlete.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe this item. I have walked with a broken leg, but it was a very marginal fracture of the shin where it meets the knee. You can't have two broken legs and walk.
