Blind Item #8
When the closeted gay man doesn't have a movie to promote we see the B- list mostly movie actor with a "girlfriend" once every few months just to remind us he is virile and straight. The rest of the time it is solo photos of him working out. With a movie to be promoted though it seems like every tabloid just is jumping on the he is such a ladies man and is dating so many women. How does he find the time to date so many? It is one thing for someone to not come out. That is a personal decision but the tabloids just jump on board because they want stories and interviews with the other clients of the publicist.

ReplyDelete@Rhody: Just guessing here but, I would not be surprised if Ted C had a non-compete & NDA or similar from E! that has kept him out of the business all this time. I have a hard time believing that he will stay away for good and that explains his total silence since.
ReplyDeleteThat said, as @cubsfan noted, it is widely believed that he accidentally (on purpose?) outed Renner (or at least *someone* named "Jeremy") and so there might be some industry repercussions at play there, too. I guess it depends on how much you like a good conspiracy theory/think Renner's career is worth.
I'm sure Ted is having a great time with his giant piles of cash in the meantime.

lutz is trying to do action films. outing him would be damaging to his career. i won't fault him for being closeted IF he is gay.
ReplyDeleteTed's been gone for near enough 2 yrs now. Any non compete thing would never have lasted that long. His intermittent tweets are all unbelievably dull and about his dogs in the main. In any case by the end his blinds were so convoluted that I'm not sure anyone knew what he was talking about. And Toothy just became some sort of parody - most of that was probs a figment of Ted's imagination.

You sound like the old Perez Hilton. the majority of people don't support outing, so you might want to be careful about going down that road.
I'm pretty sure its Toothy because everything fits except the rating and he hasn't been doing much to stay A in any case. Lutz may be closeted but he isn't a deep secret either.

The rest of us realize we're on a gossip site and expect something a little more than E! News (a.k.a. The Kardashian Promo Hour).
If you take offense to closeted celebrities being discussed, you're probably in the wrong place.
Thanks for saying it Dexamyl - entirely too many people on this site acting as morality police and deciding what topics are appropriate for snarky, often mean spirited, gossip site.
DeleteI agree too. Sorry to sound like a broken record, but if you're going to go to a gossip site to discuss people's sex lives, same-sex love affairs shouldn't assume any right to confidentiality not provided to opposite-sex love affairs. Particularly among people who make a point of publicizing themselves and their love affairs, which would include Kellan Lutz.

Noticed there was blind item which involved a closeted actress (blind item#1) and no one brought up 'outing' but there always seems to be a comment about it when a attractive actor gets mentioned. I think Dexamyl is onto something. Yes this is a snarky gossip site.

In the last few months there have been a few celebrities outed by bloggers and I do not really understand why because in at least one of the cases everyone already knew he was gay and so the only thing it seeks to do is to harm his career..

It is bizarre to me that people assume that Toothy is Jake when Ted specifically, and in no uncertain terms, has stated that Toothy is NOT Jake.
