Blind Item #5 - Kindness
This actress is not the biggest star in the world but she still has a name and once had her own network show and was on a huge cable television hit. On a flight this week our B list actress had a middle seat in the very last row of the plane. She was seated next to a child who was flying alone to see his dad for a visit. When she heard it was his first time flying alone our actress spent the almost two hour flight playing video games with him and building a LEGO model and never once seemed to get tired or want any kind of break. Because he was alone he was the last person to get off the plane and our actress waited with him until the flight attendants took him off to meet his dad.
Honestly it's more that kidness ,it's the right attitude ! Great for her
ReplyDeleteOh nooooooo, Captin and Tennille just broke up after 38 years; Tennille doesn't know why the Captin broke up with her!
ReplyDeleteCan Love Keep Them Together, Forever?
It might have something to do with insurance coverage. The Captain has some extreme health issues right now and his coverage may be better if he is single.
DeleteLoopy, only thing i can think of too. Or they're senile.
DeleteSo sweet! That speaks volumes about her character.
ReplyDeleteAh sweet…
ReplyDeleteOn
Captain & Tennille….must be another woman or man
Actually, kimba, I read it the other way around--the Captain doesn't know why Toni is dumping him.
ReplyDeleteKimba, I thought they broke up years ago, aren't the singers on SNL based on them? The one with `Will Ferrell and whosit?
ReplyDeleteAww! Why can't this be a reveal? What a sweet heart <3
ReplyDeleteI *hope* it's for insurance reasons but the Captain is 71 and has Medicare.. that is cold hearted to leave a man in the throes of Parkinsons after 40 years :( Another site said she and her [gay] partner do a lot of dog shows or something together?
ReplyDeleteSo love doesn't keep them together? Damn you OBAMACARE!!
ReplyDeleteI would have done the same especially if he/she was crying.
ReplyDeleteI don't know that I've ever gotten an impression of kindness from her, but Krysten Ritter? She was on Breaking Bad and had her own network show, "Don't Trust the B in Apartment 23."
ReplyDelete@Karen I like this guess. She does seem like a sweetheart.
DeleteSo, a Best In Show scenario? Is Tennille with a Jennifer Coolidge type or a Jane Lynch type?
ReplyDeleteSteampunk, yes! The SNL skit was inspired by these two song birds.
Go Karen, like this guess!
ReplyDeleteSounds Kristen Bellish...but she has a hit cable show that's still on.
ReplyDeleteI like Karen's guess. It could also be Alison Brie- there's been a kindness reveal about her before, too.
ReplyDelete@Karen FTW!
ReplyDeleteStill miss B in 23.
Well seven we need to get together and mourn. It will be a small gathering, unfortunately. I thought the B was a funny ensemble comedy and " Mr. Forehead" van den beek was great.
DeleteDon't they usually assign a flight attendant to a child travelling on their own or is that sort of thing not done anymore? Whoever this is, is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to make Kyra Sedgwick work for this but I can't come up with a network show. And Ent would probably mention her husband someway.
ReplyDelete@Steampunk Add me in. I totally mourned the loss of that show. That shit was laugh out loud awesome!
ReplyDelete@steampunk jazz I think "The Culps," Will F and Ana Gastmeyer (?) are based on Marty & Elayne, a cult lounge act that played the Dresden Room in LA for many years. M&E had a cameo in Swingers.
ReplyDeleteJust marathoned The B in Apt 23. Sad that it ended too. It was way funnier than most of the comedies that people go on about.
I am also a B in Apt 23 fan. Krysten Ritter was excellent, and it made me not puke at JVDB.
ReplyDeleteCarla Gugino was the first to pop into my head for some reason.
ReplyDeleteAlison Brie is on two shows, one cable (Mad Men) and one network (Community) and both are still on the air.
ReplyDelete@Basil, for UM's O(unaccompanied minors) they have a concierge escort them to the plane, the F/A's will transport between flights only IF they are traveling on the same trip, otherwise concierge again, then escorted off the plane to parent and/or concierge.
ReplyDeleteDuring the flight they must do service so no one "babysits" the entire flight. In the good old days we would get the older ones involved in the service if they wanted to. We had a Down's Syndrome teen who helped clean and she was a total hit..People loved her, we announced it and she had a ball. That obviously isn't an option for a 8, 9 yr old.
So yes, whoever this is has the eternal love from the flight crew.
She might have appreciated the opportunity to interact with someone who cared nothing about who she was. Even a kid.
ReplyDeleteNot sure why blind this one, but I hope it will be revealed.
Traylor Howard.
ReplyDeleteOh, enty, you have probably been in HW too long dear. This is what EVERYone else in the normal world would do. No big deal.
ReplyDeleteCome back to Canada for awhile.
: )
lisa kudrow
ReplyDeleteCarla Gugino is a good guess for any kindness. She's what they used to say about Gregory Peck - a real humanitarian in a town full of fake humanitarians.
ReplyDeleteEdie Falco
ReplyDeleteBetty motherfucking White for the win. It fits, she's a saint. little minx
ReplyDeleteSorry but I'm calling BS on this one...as a flight attendant I can assure you an unaccompanied minor would NEVER sit in the very back row of a plane. They always sit in row one or two so the flight attendants can keep an eye on them at all times
ReplyDelete@Lin. Nope. My son traveled across country and the flight attendant moved him to the back to accommodate "a man's" request to sit in his seat, instead. I was not impressed.
DeleteWhat about Miss Kelly Bundy, Christina Applegate?
ReplyDeleteShows: Married with Children and Samantha Who
ReplyDeleteAnother guess:
Alyssa Milano - Who's the Boss/Charmed.
