Blind Item #4

This former A+ list mostly movie actor has slipped to A list because of his recent bad movie choices but at least he still has his looks. Apparently though he is becoming even more of a pain to deal with though because he hates his new movie he is refusing to do any kind of press for it unless he is paid more. He probably would still skip out on it. Producers are hating him right now. Well, they join a very long list.

    1. What's his new movie?

    2. @Reno he has that Chris Pine movie and some other one with electrifying-on-film Amber Heard. Three days to die, three days to recruit your shadow, something like that.

    3. That film is being dropped because they don't think they can make their money back, may not mean Pine is giving them crap. I imagine this film will end up on the festival circuit. If it gets good buzz, it will find another distributor.

  3. I hate when you find out people you like on screen are assholes off screen :(

  4. Is Costner A anymore? And that line about still having his looks...puhleeze, he was stretching those looks in Tin Cup. Pine's choices have been so bad that this indie is the biggest thing I have seen from him in awhile..

  5. Costner has an Oscar. That puts him in A+ Territory. He'll always be A. and he has a rep for being difficult to work with. And his choices lately have been bad. He's got several movies out all of a sudden. Pine has never been A+.

    2. Ah thanks. *blushes* I enjoy the anonymity. You can tell when I am stuck with regards to writing: I post here. Today I'm stuck! LOL

  6. Come on. Costner's terrible movie choices cannot be described as 'recent'. More like the last 20 years worth.

    1. The Guardian, Mr Brooks, Swing Vote. Recent flops.

    1. Probably. He's trying to make a comeback. AGAIN. I think he's realizing he's not leading man material anymore. I give him props for hanging in there but I wish he wasn't such a diva. He can be very nice and quite cool sometimes. I just don't think he knows how to be normal in a normal situation.

  8. There is no way this is Kevin Costner! He slipped from A+ years ago, not because of his recent choices.
He's not even A again now. I would say Johnny Depp.

  9. Costner, yeah he's a dickish. About ten years ago, I had a few experiences with him, he was overly arrogant, and no reason, just the way he rolls. His eyeballs were rolling too.

  10. Russell Crowe would be a good fit too.
Apart from Les Misérables, his recent movies have flopped. Noah is supposed to be a comeback vehicle, but he could still be picky about the money.
And he's hated by a lot of people in the industry for his temper issues.

  11. Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Russell Crowe...all are great fits.

Costner is used to having bad movies, for years now. It started with Water World.

  12. Isn't Costner on a cable show that is doing quite well? Hatfields and McCoys?

  13. Liam Hemsworth to be different...his last few movies (outiside of HG) have not done well.

  14. Costner's a prick but he had a good turn in Superman recently and won a lead actor Emmy for Hatfields.

A list douche - acting like a douche - could be anybody.

  15. I think it's Depp and the movie is Transcendence

  16. Costner's best work was in The Big Chill.
