Blind Item #2

This foreign born B- list mostly movie actor who willingly gave up A-/B+ list status is a cranky guy. Very cranky. Doing press for his new movie that no one will go see he has been confronted by fans of his past effort that made him famous. If you are lucky he will ignore your requests to have him sign something related to his past effort. If you are not so lucky he will yell at you. Tell you to get a f**king life is one of his favorite expressions. The accent makes it more sinister. Don't worry fans. In a few years he will be at conventions posing for photos and signing autographs at $20 a pop and pretending he loves you.

  1. Sam Worthington? How's he with fans?

  2. Who is foreign born and walked away from a franchise? Christian Bale/Bat Man is the only one who jumps out at me, but he would still be A-List.

    1. I love when you do that @Seven

    2. I had to delete, Mz Lotta, Shia LaDouche isn't foreign born and his accent would be more like slurring than anything.

    3. @Seven, Either way it still cracks me up!

  4. Ryan Gosling? With the phrase being "Get the fook OOT of mah face, you hoser, eh?!!"

  5. Very funny, TTM!

I missed what Seven posted. Damn!

    1. I know, its not him but ive read some stuff about MF and it makes me sad.

    2. @Ray Martin Freeman is a good guess. He is notoriously ill mannered and refuses to smile for pics. He admitted he doesn't really like fans.

    3. Can't be Freeman, his new movie is the Hobbit - the blind states it is a movie nobody will go see.

    4. I for the life of me cannot understand how Freeman keeps getting hired. I agree with everything @its just U said, He refuses to smile for cameras and is constantly flipping them off and dropping F-bombs whenever there's a camera on him. He is just nasty and unpleasant, If there's a god then Freeman will be out of work after his Franchise runs out.

    5. Freeman's step brother is a born again Christian, ex cult member, cross dresser who likes to hook up with dudes.

  7. Arnold Schwarzenegger?

  8. I'm thinking Arnold too

    ReplyDelete
  9. In my head I heard Schwartzenegger saying "Hasta la vista, baby."

    ReplyDelete
  10. Willingly gave up, as in running for political office while he was still relatively popular and could have made more Arnold type movies

    ReplyDelete
  11. Is Arnold cranky though? I thought he was more happy go lucky.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Not Arnold. He's a politician, and if he decides to run again, he needs those votes.

Hope it's not true, but how about Ewan Mcgregor?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Arnold will never run for any political office in the US again.
He was a crappy governor, accomplished nothing & left despised by most people for cheating on Maria with that fat maid.

  13. Writergirl got it....

  14. Guys, Ahnie is working on a new Terminator.

Euan MacGregor is known to be very mean and rude to Star Wars fans. No idea if the ratings fit, and he did the entire "prequel trilogy," so it's not like he walked away from the role, so take that for what it's worth.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Russell crowe? 2 new movies coming up and he's notoriously known for being hostile.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I like the Rpatz guess, but my first guess was Ewan McGregor. Is he not cranky?

I am very bad at this most of the time!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I hope not, but I thought of Jason Statham, with the clue being Crank.
But what franchise and was he ever A list is putting me off.

    ReplyDelete
  18. @Ray, I googled Martin Freeman and you're right, he was a bit cranky on Colbert. Still love you, Dr Watson!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Martin Freeman's star is, I think, still on the rise. He's known for flipping the bird to unwelcome cameras... but "by fans of his past effort that made him famous" which past effort was big enough to warrant fans hounding him? Surely he's not still hounded for being Tim on The Office, or the nude body double in Love Actually, or Arthur Dent in Hitchhiker's Guide. The Hobbit / Sherlock are still very much of the present. I just don't think this fits him at all.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I agree with the guess about Ewan McGregor.

He has a Scottish accent, plus Star Wars is a typical 'convention'-type movie.

Not sure when he willingly gave up his status though?

    ReplyDelete
  21. PS. It can't be Martin Freeman because The Office made him a star, and that wasn't an embarrassing role/show so I doubt he'd want to forget it.

  23. I'll second the Sam Worthington guess.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Worthington and Zoe Saldana are signed for at least two more Avatar movies.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Not Ewan. I just saw him on a TV show signing autographs for kids and talking about SW with them.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I was thinking Keanu Reeves. Old franchise being matrix. It doesnt say he walked away from the franchise, just the status, But is he foreign born? He's considered Canadian I think but born in hawaii? is that right? Too lazy to google, thats a whole new window lol. New movie being that Ronan one?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Becca...That practically describes all our governors save for getting the maid pregnant part. :)

  28. Anonymous9:58 AM

Definitely Russell Crowe - he's a nasty bugger (but can turn on the charm when he wants to).

To the person up there, Keanu Reeves was born overseas - Lebanon or somewhere like that - but is not nasty. He's friendly to people who recognise him.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Arnold is fabulously wealthy. Not him.

    ReplyDelete
  30. RPatz isn't a bad guess, though he used to be very uncomfortable around fans, not annoyed by them. It's not Freeman, but he's an ASSWIPE. I love all of his work, but what a vile human being.

    ReplyDelete
  31. @sparkletron, it is possible after SW he turned down roles in movies that would make him A+, like perhaps another big franchise. Who knows. This is a guy who rode a bike with his best buddy all over the world. Ewan doesn't strike me as a fame whore and does what he wants to do, not what is expected.

Here's another name to throw out there. How about Mark Wahlberg? Enty posted a pic of him signing autographs to fans, but said he only would do something like that if he was on camera. Much like the clip Ray Nicolet saw.

  32. Dont these people EVER learn?? How many books or examples do they need to be aware of before they get the message? Dont burn your bridges behind you. You meet the same people on the way down you met on way up. It cost nothing to be nice. If you cant say anything nice, stfu.

  33. Arnold was A++ and will always be an A++. He's actually a legend at this point.

I like the Sam W. guess.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Is Russell Crowe still an A lister?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Jason Statham!

Dude has a franchise named Crank and hates attention (hence crank in the blind). When ppl talk to him he always looks pissed. He also keeps his relationship with Rosie undercover A LOT.
Biggest claim to fame is the Transporter series/Guy Ritchie movies.

Or I am guessing Vinnie Jones. Dude is violent and has been in tons of fights, even when he was still a soccer player.

    ReplyDelete
  36. @It's Just U:

    He had 2 franchises:
    Crank and the Transporter

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh, and the Expendables of course!

His recent movies are crap though, working with acting talents like Jlo and Kate Bosworth..

    ReplyDelete
  38. gottaa be rpatz
    freeman is also doing sherlock
    sam is on avatar
    rpatz just stalled

    both of them suck

  39. both as in dirtsen and rpatz

  40. What about Alex "Pretty"fer?

  42. It's Dan Stevens it's on lainey too.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Sean Bean game of thrones?

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm thinking Russell Crowe here - he has that Noah movie coming out - who the hell wants to see that POS?

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'd just hope it's not Mark Wahlberg, although I'm not particularly interested in him. In some interview, he was talking about being in prison, and one day New Kids on the Block were on the TV. He's in prison, and there's his brother on TV. Anyone that comes that far needs to remember how lucky they are.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I know he's a dick but I go see any Russell Crowe movie on offer. He's a hell of an actor.

Dan Stevens? Is he that pissed off about getting nothing in Hollywood post-Downton? Too bad, English David Caruso.

    Not Keanu - he's a sweetheart and doesn't have a foreign accent.

Maybe Freeman but I don't know what past work he'd be all bent out of shape over. It's not like he was a Teletubby.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Pattinson didn't walk away from a franchise, is always nice to his fans and will sign anything you give him (even Twilight crap). He even signs for autograph hounds. Plus he's not promoting anything yet.

    ReplyDelete
  48. There was a post elsewhere about Dan Stevens, late of Downton Abbey, who's doing press for his new movie (that I've never heard of) and is refusing to answer to any mention of the show or his role on it.

Didn't he want to be let go from the show to go to Hollywood or something, so the creators killed him off? He's from the UK but I'm not sure he's "mostly movie".

    ReplyDelete
  49. The blind doesn't say the actor walked away from the franchise. The blind says he walked away from A list status. It was the franchise that made him famous.

    ReplyDelete
  50. With regard to Dan Stevens, can't see us dressing as Lady Mary to attend Comicon. The English actors like variety in their roles. Their careers are all over the map. Of course, if Hollywood doesn't work out for Stevens, there's always a guest spot on HOLBY CITY!

  52. You're still wrong, though, because The Rover doesn't even have a trailer out & Pattinson is not promoting anything at the moment. This sounds like someone with a reputation for being an asshole to fans.

  53. I don't get stupid people. The actor's right. Those idiots should get a fucking life.
