Blind Item #12
This foreign born B+ list mostly movie actress broke down in tears for several hours on the set of her new movie. Apparently a lack of food for several days and no sleep because of the meth type drugs she was taking just caused her to have a total breakdown. This movie is also a completely different experience for her.
Surely not Margot in Z for Zachariah ... she looked fine yesterday ;-)
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'm convinced you're Lucy Lawless
DeleteNo, I'm not.
DeleteHey Step!
ReplyDeleteHey Kristin! :-)
ReplyDeleteLily Collins - she's in the next lot of photos and looks rough
ReplyDeleteYou're probably right Step.
ReplyDeleteI was about to guess Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl. Fincher could probably been an actresses to tears.
I so wish Reese Witherspoon was the lead in Gone Girl
ReplyDeleteI think she would have been perfect.......
Affleck is dead on though
Right there with you, rajahcat. Reese would have been perfect for the role. Come on, Tracy Flick!
DeleteEnty you forgot the part about her crying alone on a bench.
ReplyDelete@dude - after handing off her baby to a stranger.
DeleteAnd handing her baby to a stranger.
ReplyDeleteSorry Reno - was too excited to look at next comment
DeleteReese is producing Gone Girl.
ReplyDeleteRosamund is British, they train their actors and actresses to be tough or at least tougher than American actors and actresses IMO, with a couple of exceptions both ways. Besides don't think Rosamund is B+
ReplyDelete@Tina Train them how so? No snark, honestly curious about what that means.
DeleteKidman.
ReplyDeletetrue that Tina
ReplyDeleteAnd by meth-type drugs, you mean Adderall or Ritalin?
ReplyDeleteYeah...what's going on with Lilly Collins. She IS looking really rough lately, especially in that picture.
ReplyDeleteKristin - English actors are actually classically trained actors - they study hard, and know their craft. Unlike here, where most actors make it for no reason other than looks. You can always tell a trained actor from one who isn't - the ones who are classically trained at Yale, Julliard or NYU. I think because they have a solid background and aren't thrust into fame too early, they have more backbone and integrity so don't turn as much to drugs, which many seek because of deep insecurity.
ReplyDeletemsgirl - a good summation of why so many English (and Australian) actors/actresses get shows in US in addition to not being substance abusers. People would be amazed how many leading men/women on tv today are actually English and Australian because they all have excellent American accents.
Delete@texas rose - make that Australasian - Rose from Two and a Half Men is a Kiwi who has the American accent down pat, and there are quite a few other Kiwis who are working, and have worked, in the US with great success.
DeleteI don't get why people assume that everyone who works in the industry has dabbled in drugs or is an addict - it's like any other industry in my experience - comes down to the person. I know of more bankers that snort their bonus cheques up their noses than I do actors who do the same.
Texas - GMTA
ReplyDelete@msgirl makes interesting points but for the record, Rosamund Pike wasn't a product if drama school, she went to private school then attended Oxford.
