Blind Item #10

This married A list designer who says he is straight and sells D list clothes and a very famous name recently had to pay off a young man's family after our designer spent a long weekend with him in a Manhattan hotel room. The young man was just 16 but told the designer he was 18.

    1. Douchey Chic Ceo! I'll never forget when my missinformed Mom claimed my cousin's girlfriend "knew a lot about fashion" because she knew who Ed Hardy was! Thank god that girl was just the flavor of the week!

    1. Now THAT'S what I would consider D list clothing.
      I agree with your guess!

Agree with Sunny the Ed Hardy guy. That was the only brand that pinged "D list" to me.

  7. Ed Hardy guy. If you walk through a casino, you'll see his clothes. D list for sure.

  8. I don't know I think having a Target brand is lower than Ed Hardy who was once the darling of the hip not that long ago. I have Ed Hardy slip on sneakers which I got several years ago ie when he was hot and I love them and will still wear them.

    1. Um no. Looking like a douche that fought a bedazzeler and paid a lot for privilege as opposed to looking nice with no labels? Target for sure.

Is it wrong that there is a part of me that thinks the "family" of this 16 year old, who lied, basically blackmailed the designer? It's to the point that you have to ID people before getting with them! And then you better hope it's not a fake ID.

    1. Dulcinea: I thought the same thing too. How do you not know where your 16 year old son is for the weekend?

  12. No way does having a Target brand equate with D list! Ed Hardy is D list. Once a brand has become a punchline in jokes, it has reached D list, as Ed Hardy has.

  13. Target guy and Hardy are both D list. Of the two, I'll go with Hardy for this.

I don't like when parents allow themselves to be bought off but I suppose at 16 and allegedly lying about it their case was marginal.

  14. How bizarre that there should be so many closeted gay men in an industry that practically screams gay men work here!

  15. Agree, Ed Hardy is only clothing worth giving a rating as if it were a person . A flash in the pan relic of a bygone 2005 when Kitson was the Colette of LA and the sexy uniform was tsubi jeans and louboutins and giant mom sunglasses.
