I was born on Friday the 13th, we got married on Friday the 13th, our new house closed on Friday the 13th, the house we sold closed on Friday the 13th. It's tough to deny your own birthday, I like it. I like black cats, I'll go under a ladder. I have been known to cross my fingers though.
Today is my best friend's birthday and I blew up her phone with Ryan Gosling "hey girl" happy birthday pics. Friday and Ryan Gosling? No bad luck here.
Back during my Knight's Templar days I wasn't really keen on Friday the 13th, but that turned out to just be a fantasy brought on by PCP I got from snorting Rodney King's ashes.
@Rowdy: I tell ya what, I don't know if you can get PCP out of Rodney's ashes, but if LSD actually never leaves the sack around your spine, then they should have pumped Jerry Garcia's dry and tripped out for his funeral.
I find Friday the 13th to be really lucky too. It must be; my weed guy's been sick all week but he's coming to make a delivery tonight! I'll let you all know if these lottery tickets pan out. :)

ReplyDeleteyup. have to maintain a sense of wonder and that's part of it. unlike some other things, definitely needs to be done in moderation.
