A pillowcase full of soap!
What was the question? Did I beat VIP yet?
Nice try, but VIP strikes again
DeleteIt's not just a weird angle of the mom's own hand?
ReplyDeleteYeah. Peaches in definitely back to being down with brown again. I would have to be on drugs, too, to buy that explanation.
DeleteI like both answers!
ReplyDeleteFUCK! How do you do that?
ReplyDelete@Kristin It's magic!
Delete@VIP Are you Earth Jesus walking among us?
Delete@Kristin, I think VIP has some super powers.
ReplyDeleteI got a good ghost story.. sorry it's so long (keep scrolling :/), but it really happened to my and my bf 20 years ago :p
ReplyDeletehttp://www.ghostsandstories.com/jacksonville-florida-ghost-light-road.html
Sweet !!!
DeleteThat's like a story out of WeirdNJ.
Creepy. Totally not sure but I've definitely had weird vibes in certain placesike that.
ReplyDeleteEvery single time I would hang out near the bumper cars at Great Adventure in NJ as a teen, it would be very quiet and freezing cold. Oddly enough it felt spooky but I was always drawn to that area. I literally found out last week that the bumper cars are where the Haunted Mansion was that burned down and killed 8 teens.
It all makes so much sense now about how I felt every time I was there. I lived about 20 minutes away and had season passes and would find myself in that spot often.
That hand could not be hers because of the angle and that is one creepy looking hand--could be.
ReplyDeleteThat ghost story is too close to me aemish. But we aledgedly have a few haunted houses and crmetaries here
ReplyDeleteAlso had a similar feeling while waiting in line at the Tower of London on a very sunny warm summer morning. I had my back turned to a wall and got the oddest sensation. It was like someone took a finger and traced in down my spin. I turned around and there was a plague saying the bodies of "The 2 Young Princess" were found in the wall on XXYZ.
ReplyDeleteCreepy.
I think I'm a wee bit sensitive to these things. I have tons of stories like this.
Hugz to Kristin again today!

Delete@Sandy **wave** :D Ya, the last time I drove through Switzerland I couldn't even tell it was Switzerland! It's just a part of the city as a whole now. Everybody's out jogging and cycling and shopping.. nary a dirt road or ghost light to be found
ReplyDeleteJersey is home to the Jersey Devil in the Baron Pines. I was gonna try to get my niece and nephew to go camping so we could catch it but they chickened out :p
ReplyDelete@Aemish
DeleteYup. Always freaked me out as a kid about the Jersey Devil. Totally understand why they'd be scared.
My husband, who is a huge skeptic, was sitting on the porch of a house talking to a ghost, altho he didn't realize it was a ghost at the time. Several other people staying in the house (it was a famous photographer's and being used for a theater workshop) reported seeing this ghost. In the morning they saw a photo of the guy who started out as a fisherman and owned the house at some point.
ReplyDeletemy friend lives in a house that was a funeral home back in the '50s.
ReplyDeletethe basement still has the original wood walls, where they wld keep the bodies until the time of the wake.
u can randomly hear tapping on the walls & the sounds of like wooden cabinets slide open & shut. nothing really scary.
then, there's the blue room, where they embalmed the bodies. the fukn dog wn't even go in that room. & no matter how hard u push, u can't close the door if ur inside the room. it'll just randomly close on its own.
Your friend sounds like he has a fun yet kinda creepy house. I had a friend who's basement was haunted. You'd hear barstools moving when no one was down there. Oh and sometimes a tapping on the basement windows when we'd be outside near them. It also had permanent cold spots in it.
DeleteI would joke around when we'd be partying down there, jumping in and out of the cold spots.
Did you guys ever see the ghost in Three Men & A Baby?
ReplyDeletehttp://newsfromthespiritworld.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/three-men-a-baby-ghost-large-ted-danson-urban-legend.jpg
I love pausing that scene and freaking people out! In the scene right before you see the little boy who shot himself, you see the rifle he did it with standing upside down
DOdoDOdo..
@Aemish
DeleteOMGosh that freaked me out when I was younger. I think it's a cutout though. Looks too 1-D.
I can't be the only one who thought of this:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96s1M8IyrUQ
"Too bad we can't stay, baby!"
This guy says it's an urban legend..
ReplyDeletehttp://newsfromthespiritworld.com/2012/04/20/three-men-and-a-baby-ghost-paranormal-cardboard/
But clearly he didn't know about the gun scene for which he offers no explanation, annnd the other little discrepancy that the ghost looks exactly like a little boy, and not a cardboard cutout of Ted Danson [to me]
It looks like she has her knee drawn up and is leaning forward with her hand between her knee and her head.
ReplyDeleteThat hand is way too visible to be a ghost hand. Since when do ghosts have tanned wet skin.
ReplyDelete@AJ.. you're crazy! Don't you know if you and your buddies caught the Joyzee Devil you could sell it's carcass to the Enquirer! The townspeople would probably throw a parade every year in your honor too with children singing songs about you :p
ReplyDelete@Aemish
DeleteGood Point !!! Urban Myths are valuable.
Hubby & I just literally moved into the Pine Barren region and I swear Bigfoot lives out here with the JerseyDevil. If it lives anywhere, it's here.
Hey welcome to NJ!!
Delete@Jenna
DeleteThanks. Have actually lived here all my life just keep progressing further south. Started in Perth Amboy/Middlesex County than moved to Howell/SpringLake & Wall in Monmouth and have now landed in Ocean Co on the edge of LBI.
@aemish, you've sufficiently given me the creeps for the rest of the day. And now I need to go read more ghost stories.
ReplyDelete@AJ.. + the little boy's hair goes down to his eyebrows, like he has bangs.. Ted Danson doesn't have bangs, he blows that shit out with half a can of Auquanet
ReplyDeleteYour right !!!
Delete@ Karen.. Oh, no! I sowwy!!
ReplyDeleteThey're not all bad though I don't think.. one time when my husband was out of town and I was about 8 months along, my Pekingese ran to the edge of the bed and started barking at the air for about 3 minutes.. I didn't have any weird vibes per se other than she had never done that before, so when he returned home, I decided to tell him. I figured he'd probably just laugh it off or roll his eyes thinking I was full of it but I decided, whatevs, I gotta be me and told him. I didn't get much reaction out of him until a couple days later when Bushi (our dog) did the same thing again. He and I were in bed reading and just looked at each other, his eyes like saucers.
"Meh, probably just some relatives coming to visit the baby.." and went back to my reading :p
@aemish, getting the creeps is kind of a good thing! I love ghost stories. I wish more people were posting some. :)
ReplyDelete@AJ.. gurrl.. set your DVR to anything related to the Jersey Devil, I swear they caught him on nightvision camera one time with that show with those college kids that go around ghost hunting. Their idea was to go to the house it was supposedly born in, and it paid off big time. (they've since torn the house down, I think bc of this episode!)
ReplyDeleteAlso on Monster Quest I think it was they interviewed this lady and her son and photos of its hoofprints in the snow of their roof after chasing them back in their house the night before when they were unplugging the Christmas lights.
@Aemish
DeleteThat's crazy and very creepy.

ReplyDelete@Karen.. they have Celebrity Ghost Stories on I think it's either Bio or A&E.. that's like right up your alley :D
ReplyDelete@aemish, I think I've seen every episode twice. ;)
ReplyDeleteIve always said the real Jersey Devil is Martin Brodeur :(
ReplyDelete@Sandy.
DeleteSounds about right with Broduer. Most epic goalie ever and also THE "Jersey Devil"
@Aemish, loading to read. Thank you in advance for freaking my shit out.
ReplyDeleteAre we sure that's not just a hair scrunchie sitting on her shoulder (is that a shoulder? It would be easier with some context regarding their body positions)?
teeheehee @snapdragon
ReplyDeleteOk...I'm originally from Salem, MA. I was in Crow Haven Corner over Thanksgiving, which is a famous little Wiccan store with herb and candles and stuff. It's awesome.
ReplyDeleteAnyway...while I was there, there was a woman standing next to me and she screamed and scared everyone shopping to death. The clerk ran from behind the counter and asked her what happened. Apparently something pulled on her coat and then pushed her. She turned and there was no one there. I was standing next to her and could vouch for her that no one was there. When I spoke to the woman who owned the store...she told me a little ghost girl lives there and messes with people all the time. She actually caught a picture of the ghost girl walking across her store floor during a seance. Out of 100 pictures taken, the ghost girl only showed up in one frame. She showed me the picture. It was the freakiest thing I'd ever seen. I am a believer, so yes...that could be a ghost in that frame.
@ Crila
DeleteCreepy but awesome. I love hearing about stuff like this.
I <3 Salem, MA.. Something in the air with all those famous authors of centuries gone by..
ReplyDeletePerhaps the bathtub needs to go.
ReplyDeleteAt Aemish...I can tell you for an absolute fact that the ghost in 3 Men and a Baby is fake. I asked Ted Danson himself when he was filming at Cheers in Boston, years ago. He told me it was a cardboard cutout and they did it for publicity.
ReplyDeleteI was 13 and my parents had just had my youngest brother. One night he wouldn't stop crying and I could hear him at the other end of the house. Probably about 1am or so. I got up to see what the problem was, why wasn't my mom getting him or whatever, and he wasn't in his crib. I go to my parents room and they were fast asleep but the baby wasn't there either. I hear him crying again and I look in his room, NOT FUCKING THERE. by this point I'm losing my mind and in tears myself, so i wake my mom up, she comes with me to his room and he's fast asleep in his crib.
ReplyDelete@Juicy
DeleteThat's the scariest one yet I've seen today !!!
Next morning she tried to convince me I had been dreaming but to this day I don't believe it was a dream. Waaaay creepy and felt too real.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting that link @aemish! Now I have something to distract me at work.
ReplyDeleteI love real ghost stories too @karen, check out reddit- r/nosleep or r/paranormal. I love people's real accounts and experiences. I'm not saying I'm a believer but I enjoy the stories.
Anybody interested in being spooked out, google the mysterious case of elisa lam. Not necessarily a ghost story, but spooky and unnerving.
ps. that picture creeps me out, fake or not.
I don't believe in ghosts, even the ones I've seen, but if Peaches does, why in the Sam Hill is she bringing her baby near it?? Concern mama trolling for 1000, please Alex! Won't someone please think of the bebehs??
ReplyDeletei see no ghost and must she be so creepy? She has money, get a new tub.
ReplyDeleteI've seen ghosts. My husband died, he was twenty two. We had a four and a half month old baby. I was living in Illinois where he was from, and after his death, living with his parents. I woke one night because the room light was on and there he was at the foot of the bed looking at the baby. I got up, talked to him about her. He wanted to know how we were doing.
ReplyDeleteHis folks woke up because they could hear me talking. They stood in the doorway and watched me talk to someone they couldn't see.
He told me to go where I would be happy, so I moved back home to Washington.
I often wake up because it feels like someone is setting on my side of the bed and just got up.
None of these are scary, but almost comforting.
@Del
DeleteI'm sorry you lost your husband so early. That's heartbreaking buts so sweet that he came to check up on you.
Beautiful story. Sorry too you list hubby so early. Hugs.
Delete@Del Riser - that is so young to lose someone you love. I'm glad you were able to get some comfort after experiencing such a tragedy.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if that's a ghost hand in the pic or not, I just know that I would not bathe in a tub where someone committed suicide. Nothing good can come of it.
{{{{{hugs Del Riser}}}}}
ReplyDelete@crila16.. I'd love to know did he say the cutout was of himself.. that right there is the deal breaker for me *shrug*
ReplyDeletesuperly duperly bizarre, @juicy! {{{{{hugs}}}}}
ReplyDelete@Smokey772.. but wait! There's more!
not exactly tonight per se, but ya.. :p

ReplyDeleteWhy do I keep opening @aemish's ghost links? I'm sleeping in your room tonight.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all of you for the good wishes and hugs. It was a bad time, he died two days before Christmas. The people in the little town were fabulous. I've been happily remarried for twenty five years so it's all good.
ReplyDeleteSomeone does still sit on the side of my bed though.

I’ve seen the light too. It was about 10 years ago, scared the **** out of us. Same thing, light following us, then disappeared. I’ve heard the explanation about the intersecting road, but it’s weird, because the light seemed to be right on top of us, like a semi truck with it’s brights on.<<

ReplyDeleteEvil, I tell you! Eeeevvviiilll!!
ReplyDeleteG'night!
My family, from our car, saw a little girl in an old fashioned dress run across a yard when no one was actually home or around at my aunt's house. The kids there would talk about the little girl & often she was hungry & they would complain she took their food.
