Today's Blind Items - Kindness

Tis the day before Christmas and all through the house everyone is stirring. Mostly swizzle sticks in mixed drinks, but they are stirring. I have never had a sugarplum but if it goes with the really rare monster steak I am going to eat tonight after the wrestling match at the seafood tower then I am all for it. Although I will be drinking heavily and merrily for the next umpteen hours I will be here tomorrow with a weekend schedule as the one week countdown to Reveal Day begins. If you don't get the chance to stop on by tomorrow I hope you will be back soon and have a Merry Christmas.

This is about an actress who everyone loves. I believe she could do no wrong in the mind of most women because of her roles and in the minds of most men because of her looks. The thing that makes this B list actress so great is that she does guy movies and the movies where a guy must be really in the doghouse to attend. Behind the scenes she has had her ups and downs but for the most part she has been who you want her to be. Imagine her to be. Some very bad choices in men recently. One in particular who has never said no to any woman at any time.

Anyway, this is about the good she did recently. Quietly. She was filming on location. Even though she was filming for only a month, the production company had to lease the house where she was staying for a year. The company figured they could use it again or use it for themselves as a vacation house because it is in a really nice place. What they had not counted on is our actress who from the first day she started filming she was also helping out at a community center volunteering on the days she wasn't working. When the community center got flooded because of a burst water pipe she volunteered the house where she was staying for the center and when the production company balked, the actress paid for the rental for the entire year until the community center could be rebuilt using funds our actress donated.

  3. I was thinking Sandra Bullock until I saw the part about B list, which in no known universe Sandy would be in. I got nothing but whomever this is should be revealed so I will watch her movies now.

  4. Mila Kunis? Is she B list now?

  5. I was thinking Charlize for everything except the B list.

  6. For some reason I'm thinking Amanda Seyfried or however.you spell her last name.

  7. Though @feathersmcgraw is probably right. Sounds like something that Canadian cherub would do.

Whoever she is, I love her.

  9. Rachel is a good guess. Love it!

  10. I'm thinking Cameron Diaz in New York filming Annie. Ex is A-Rod that has never said no.

  11. Sounds exactly like Amanda Seyfried. Ryan Phillippe as one of the bad dating choices?

  12. Zoe Saldana, with Bradley Cooper as the horn dog bad choice from her past.

  13. I agree with Sandra Bullock but also don't think she's B list.

  14. Christina Applegate, Anchorman 2, Will Arnett

  15. I agree with the Mila Kunis guess (I think she's a B+ - A- though, right?), and that is only because Sandy B. is A+ list.

  16. Wait - I think Applegate probably fits the best.

  17. I thought Sandy too, but she's A list.

  18. Guy movies and guys in doghouse go to see? The second must be romcoms and the first action blockbusters?

  19. Whoever it is, that is very cool.

  20. I did some research. I think this is the incident that Enty refers to : http://www.dallasnews.com/news/community-news/dallas/headlines/20110213-west-dallas-community-center-suffers-significant-water-damage-closes-one-building.ece

The movie filmed in Dallas, TX then was Tree of Life, and the actress is Jessica Chastain, who fits the other criteria. I don't know enough about who she has dated though. Could she be the one?

  21. My first thought was Jessica Chastain.

  22. Chastain's a lesbian. She doesn't have any real male exes.

That said, I have no idea about this blind. The B list is vast.

  23. I'm thinking Cameron Diaz. "In Her Shoes, The Holiday" and then "There's Something About Mary," "the Counselor."

  24. J Law, but don't think she's B list, not sure what she's filming now....

Everybody loves her, she would be this cool and kind :)

  25. Mila Kunis fits the description: Ted and Forgetting Sarah Marshall for the guys, Black Swan and Friends With Benefits for the ladies. Plus the snotty comment about the current man in her life. The Ashton K hate on this site is off the charts.

  26. Jennifer Lawrence with Bradley Cooper for the fling bad guy

    ReplyDelete
  27. If NOT for "B list," JLaw (with Cooper) fits this, though it would go back to April and "American Hustle."

McAdams? What "guy movies" has she been in?

  28. This is Rachel. She volunteers all of the time.
