Selena Gomez Cancels Australia Tour - Ticket Sales Or Rehab?

In a shocking announcement Selena Gomez canceled her Australian tour because "she needs to spend some time on myself." Yeah, that kind of statement usually portends rehab. Yeah, I used portend in a sentence. I have been waiting for that one. See what happens when someone throws away a perfectly great word of the day calendar in the trash. Sure, it was from 2012, but it is all about the words and not the days anyway.

After her most recent mini-tour of Jingle Ball dates it was becoming noticeable that she was on edge. Even before her meltdown in Los Angeles which I gave her a pass on because most performers would have done the same thing there have been louder and louder whispers that perhaps she has been drinking more than is good for her and that she might be doing things other than drinking too. I know, I know. That kind of thing would ruin her carefully crafted image of someone who is so innocent. First of all if you are around Bieber as much as she was, you know she wasn't all that innocent when it came to certain activities because the guy is a walking hot box. Second, she parties, a lot. She is just a master of staying inside like all celebrities should, especially if things are spiraling out of control.

The option that her camp might spin quietly is that ticket sales were poor in Australia. This would have to be done quietly because sales were not that bad and promoters accused of not selling enough tickets when there are ticket sales might not want to work with Selena should she decide to tour there again.
