  1. So terribly sad. Kind of ironic he died in the manner of his most famous movies.

  6. I heard his friend was driving but I wasn't aware he was a race car driver. What was his name? Sad for both.

  7. RIP He seemed like a very laid back, decent, charitable man. Thoughts and prayers to his daughter.

  8. I wonder if there was something wrong with the car that it exploded like that. I mean the couldnt have been going THAT fast if it all happened less than a minute away from the event...

    1. The photos do not make sense to me. The BACK 80% of the car is demolished but the front hood sticks straight up. The 'tree' or 'pole' is on the side (perhaps the car slid sideways?), and weirdest to me is the darkness of the photos of the blaze, as if those photos were taken at night, not 3:30pm. Finally, one of the bodies was on the street rather far from the car.

I have seen and witnessed and read about enough strange events that this just don't make no sense at ALL to me.

Anyone else sniffing the weirdness I am? MissMoPR, explosion from the back of the car mmakes a lot more sense than a high speed crash. That car does NOT look like it hit a tree AT ALLLLL! And the reporting and the PR statements are all kinda disjointed and almost illiterate. They do not read like real PR statements to me. Are you a PR professional, or from Puerto Rico?? Just curious.

I usually post and move along. I think I will check back in. Sumthin' just ain't right.

  9. Heartbreaking... He did so much to help people less fortunate than him. Such a beautiful man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and those whose lives he touched.

  10. This is one if the fee celebrity deaths that really got to me. That poor child who watched his father die and also for Paul's daughter who has no doubt seen the pictures of the crash splashed all over the internet. I hope both kids find peace.

  13. RIP, Paul Walker. I saw this wonderful gif of him laughing on DL this morning.

@Rowdy, I'm sorry about your kitty. I lost my 16yo kitty last year and while I know 16 is a good long life for a kitty, it's still hard to say goodbye to our furry friends.

  14. RIP It's thick with irony - Walker was in the area to attend a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide.

  15. Love love love Paul Walker... He's always been at the top of my "List" (Celebs I can cheat on the hubby with). Normally this would bump #2 up to first place (Efron), but I think we'll just leave #1 empty for now. Good guy, gone way too soon...

  20. Incredibly heartbreaking:(
Paul Walker was my reason for watching the F/F movies. I can't count the number of times I've watched Into the Blue. Seemed like a great guy. He will truly be missed.

  21. @7 Thanks :)

I had just watched an episode of Tosh.0 (and I never watch it) the day before where he made a joke about Paul Walker's acting and how he barely even read the words.

Never watched any of his movies but I hate to hear about anyone die so young, especially so close to Christmas. Believe me, it completely ruins the holidays for the rest of your life. (Still miss you mom)

  22. I always read but never comment...this.is really sad to me. My friend went to college in Cali and met Paul surfing one day...he struck up a conversation and they became friends/surfing buddies and still kept in touch as far as I know. He had nothing but great things to say about him...kind, generous, just wanted to be normal guy. I feel so sad for the kids.who lost their dads. I know there is tragedy every day but this is just horrible all around.

  23. Never watched any of the F/F movies but from all I've read he was a good guy. Such a rarity in this business. RIP.

  24. A hard working celebrity who did his job and rarely made the pap photos or gossip pages. How rare is that?

I saw one report yesterday that his daughter is now a teenager and she had recently moved to LA to live with him. I never saw any of the F&F movies, they just weren't my style, but I don't think I've ever heard anyone say a bad word about him since I first learned who he was more than 10 years ago. He was still young, it's so sad and tragic for these two men, these two fathers, to die like this. Something is not right about this accident and I wonder if something went horribly wrong with the car. I don't think we'll ever really know what happened.

Do an image search for Jan-Michael Gambill. He's a tennis player that could almost be Walker's twin.

  27. Hey Enty...let's have a week of truly nice celebrities, ones who give back, ones who are nice, ones who are talented and ones who are truly grateful to be where they are ... you get the picture.....

No Kartrashians, no Lohans, no Hiltons, no Baldwins, no Assholes, no F*cktards, I could go on and on...really....

  28. I was so hoping this was a celebrity death hoax when I read it last night on TMZ.com. As other news outlets started posting on FB I felt so sad.

  29. I guess he was a mark for his own gimmick.

  30. He was allegedly such a good guy that I will avoid making jokes about his death.

I started crying when I was reading about his sudden, tragic death.
    RIP Paul Walker
NOW everything about his extensive charity work is coming out. A fine man who loved the outdoors and the ocean and who claimed he acted on the side. Just so sad. Only the Good Die Young.

If you go on Celebitchy, they have some beautiful pictures of Paul Walker, many of him all over the world doing charity work plus some celebrity stills.

  33. I am absolutely floored and heartbroken about this. I didn't want to believe it last night until CNN reported it. God. Their poor daughters and families.

He had such an infectious smile. I bet he lot up every room he went in. Rest in peace :(

You know what's creepy? Guy had huge iconic car role, dies in terrible car crash. Sound familiar, right? Like James Dean & "Rebel". Well the creepy is Walker's crash happened 58 years & 2 months to the day of Dean's. Both in Porsches, both 2 persons in the car. Both were photographed with the cars right before the crashes, and both were out to attend automotive enthusiast events. Even the crash wreckage is similar. Very eerie. One of those weird Hollywood cosmic coincidences.

  35. I don't think I've been this sad over a celeb passing since Michael Hutchence. Paul Walker has been a huge crush of mine for a long time and he did, by all accounts, seem to be a genuinely good guy. I like how he distanced himself from the Hollywood scene. He wasn't an attention-seeker. I echo the above sentiments "Only the good die young". So sorry for his friend and their children as well. For an 8 yr old boy to witness that is just horrible. I pray they were not still alive or conscious when the fire engulfed them. It's just too horrible to imagine :(

@Texasrose Yep, to the exact day. Crazy. Dean died Sept. 30, 1955. Walker Nov. 30.

    This is a a shame.

    RIP...

  40. The engine is in the back in that car. So that's where the fire would have been.

This is fucked. Apparently speed was a factor. Not certain if it was km's or amphetamines but mega sad nonetheless. (On his way back frm a fundraiser for the Phillipines)
