Just three more weeks until I can roll myself out of another holiday meal.

  1. Kim Kardashian seems like a real sweetie---I can just chat with her all day long---anything to distract me from the real world...

  2. I have a question about men's shoes. My husband wants some casual black shoes to wear with his jeans, not sneakers or tennis shoes but nothing fancy either. I want to get him some cool shoes that I can be proud of (because let's face it, it's all about me!) and was hoping some of the cool shoe wearing men or ladies who know about cool men's shoes could provide a suggestion. Nothing too expensive though, like under $100/$150?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks bitches!

    1. If he wants comfy too, sketchers has dress shoes with memory foam.

    3. Check Penners online: http://www.pennersinc.com
High quality, reasonable price, good style.

  3. @Sugar---I would suggest Kenneth Cole, Steve Madden or Blundstones (but the later are like 200 bucks)

  5. @Sugar, my husband likes the Rockport brand. I don't know if they have anything cool enough, though.

  6. @Sugar: Check out Clarks. They comfy as hell, casual shoes he'll be able to walk all day in. The pair I have even has some vents for air flow, so they don't get stinky.

  7. Thanks for those suggestions Karen and Derek. I shall look into all of them.
I haven't heard of Blundstones before.

  9. I hate this time of year. I have to remember to bring my headphones with me in every store. Sleigh bells and Christmas music make me want to rush out of a store, not linger and shop.

  10. @paris, or when they play the dogs barking Jingle Bells for the 450th time in a row followed by Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. At Macy's!

  11. SevenEleven, I have the TV remote next to me at all times, just so I can mute commercials right away.

    I FUCKING HATE CHRISTMAS MUSIC.

  12. Speaking of comfy. I don't know how cool they are (not at all I'm sure), but I've been wearing Sketchers Go Walks for 2 winters now and I have never had a more comfortable shoe. It's seriously like walking on a cloud. Anyway.

  18. Hallmark channel seems to have found all those out-of-work C listers to star in their holiday movies.

On another topic, I've settled for the Jazz Holidays Pandora to play in my shop. Not nearly so annoying.

On another topic: I'm sorry I asked that KK anything. I was reading a selection from a book on Hinduism and it was all about the lack of true Joy in a life scrambling for fame, money & power. Oh well.

  19. Question for any lawyers out there: What's the best way to prepare for the LSAT? With all the options (and how expensive they can be), I'm not sure what route to take. Thank you in advance!

@Sugar - I have a slip-on version of these and I LOVE them. So comfortable.

  22. I'm super late to this party … but I brought wine. And some BellaVitano cheese?

Anyway, my husband loves Johnston & Murphy shoes. They're nice, comfy, & won't break the bank.

  23. @Melpomene25 -- Kaplan is the course that's been used for the last ~30 years for LSAT prep. Have no idea if it's been replaced by a newer vendor.

  24. @Sugar -- Nothing beats Italian leather loafers for class and comfort, but you'll have to scrounge around for the price you want to pay. Maybe eBay?
