An eclair is made with special pastry and can be filled with custard or whipped cream. Boston cream donuts are too sweet and don't actually contain whipped cream.
Also, off topic, i wonder why kids dont ask why santa doesnt go to poor children. Remember, everyones always collecting toys for poor children and fixing up old toys for poor children. Why, kids shld wonder. Why wld santa skip these kids? Dont they need santa more than well off kids? Dont poor kids need a break more than even " regular" kids? Kust wondering why kids arent wonderinh.
@ at Liddy. Growing up, a couple presents under the tree were labeled from "mom and dad" while Santa brought the rest. For the families in need, it was explained that the donated presents were to be from the parents :)
Over here in the UK yesterday the BBC News were doing vox pops in London about some planned expansion at Heathrow airport & the interviewer stopped this passer by at random.
I find the pastry part of an eclair dry and bland. Boston cream donughts are so much sweeter.
ReplyDeletetotally different texture, hands down Boston Cream wins, and this is said by a New Yorker.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely a difference. The Boston Creme uses a vanilla pudding filling, while the eclair has a classic pastry cream.
ReplyDeleteFine, for sake of difference, I vote eclair.
ReplyDeleteBoston cream is too sweet and, well, just weird.
Besides, eclair has chocolate!!! That closes the deal.
I use to work with this wack-job loser and I was eating a Boston cream donut and he asked if "I was enjoying the cum-bun?" blagh lol
ReplyDeleteBoston Cream if I have to pick. Eclair is to dry.
