Kanye West Is An Idiot - Compares What he Does On Tour To Being A Soldier Or Policeman

I'm sick of celebrities comparing themselves to soldiers or police. What you do is not that. I think Kanye West and Tom Cruise should actually participate in a battle or skirmish and be fired at by people trying to kill them and then tell me how acting or performing a concert is the same thing.  "I think about my family and I’m like, wow, this is like being a police officer or something, in war or something," Kanye said in an interview linked above. I'm tired of celebrities trivializing it. I am especially tired of Kanye West and his a-holiness. I am so glad he didn't get any Grammy nominations. I am so glad he is with Kim Kardashian. I am so glad his tour is a bomb. I am so glad that designers hate him and that everyone hates him. I am so glad he is losing $1-2M a week on his tour and hope his arrogance bankrupts him. I hope Kim Kardashian kicks in all her money to help pay for his next record and loses it all. I hope they end up having to live in Kris Jenner's house with their kid and Kourtney's eight kids and no one buys one of their crap products again. I hope a decade from now we will still be laughing at them and how they used to be on top but ruined it all by being absolute jerks and tools and that the world is better off without them in the spotlight and the only thing they contributed to the world was one jerk off tape and a sense of entitlement that has previously never been seen.

  1. But he's a genius!

  2. I can't imagine how anyone could ever have doubted that he's an idiot.

  3. You used "holiness" in a paragraph about Kanye. Yes, there was the "a-" in front of it but Kanye's Google alert won't see that, it only captures holiness. Now we're in for it!

  4. Tom Cruise's comments were taken way out of context. I'm not a fan of his, but if you read all of the questions, along with his response, he never really compared himself to a soldier in combat.

Kanye calls himself "Yeezus", this new load of shit isn't surprising.

  5. He's a legend in his own mind and that makes him pretty boring to my mind. You sure have a vindictive streak when it comes to people you don't care for. What has Kanye ever done to you? I think I'd feel more at ease in Kanye's company than yours to be honest.

Freud would have a field day with Kanye. He is stuck somewhere between the id and the ego. Not to mention his anal fixation.

  7. Enty, be the change you want...stop posting about these a-holes and perpetuating their fame. No news = good news in this case. Stop talking about them and they will be forgotten. Bu-bye!

  8. Im really starting to think he has mental issues. He's in a fantasy world. I dont really care what happens to any of them, but they are heading for a fall of monumental proportions.

  9. Why the hate on Kourtney? Since when is having two children with a long-term partner a percursor to becoming a baby-making factory?

    1. Karen - Please don't tell me you don't think she is one of the biggest bitches on that show. She is awful. Maybe not in the money grubbing way of the others but just personality wise in how she treats people including her douche baby father. She does appear to be a good mother though.

  10. I think it's interesting to watch One Direction's Harry Styles - an A+ list tweener if there ever was one - being set up with one of the young Kardashian sisters.

Styles is reportedly ready to launch a solo career, and apparently the Kardashian family is still worth it, publicity-wise.

The relationship itself is probably the least plausible matchup since the Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner.

Even if you disregard the gossip about a longtime relationship between Styles and his bandmate Louis Tominson, Styles has only ever been seen with much older women. I can't imagine what he'd have to talk about with a Kardashian teenager.

  11. I am proud to say that I have never watched a Kardashian program. Find their ride to fame and fortune to be quite revolting.

Kanye West should make his statement in the flesh to a whole bunch of military peeps, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, etc. See how that goes over. Maybe they could have a panel discussion about the similarities.

  12. For the past couple of months I have been thinking that CDaN was on the payroll of PMK and Seacrest. Maybe it was, but if so, not anymore. This Enty hates KPig as much as I do. Which is a lot. But I don't hate Kanye. I honestly think that he has some sort of mental problem that distorts his view of the world, and his place in it. It has been suggested that his car wreck some years back may have done something to his head. Maybe. He took a pretty good whack to his noggin. But whatever the reason for Kanye's elevated sense of self, I find his rants and declarations and his career management and his trying to hide his sexuality al enormously entertaining.

And not to defend Cruise but he never compared himself to a soldier.

  14. So.tired of all the Kanye hate. He's a musician that is constantly asked baiting questions. He is not a public speaker. He appears to have a tenuous grip at best on how he is actually privileged now. People love it, though, just eat it up! There's Kanye, acting like an idiot. I would say he is more acting like a rich musician far FAR away from the reality he was raised with. Most musicians think they are gods. Most of them shouldn't be asked political questions. Lots of them have vices, some in the 12-year-old range, thank you Jimmie Page. So.tired.of.it!

  15. @Talks, I'm not buying it. Mary J. Blige is a musician. Paul McCartney is a musician. Sky Ferrara is a musician. Joshua Bell is a musician.

Kanye is a brand. He's tried to get involved in all different industries, most notably fashion, and has chosen to speak out about politics repeatedly. His brand is his mouth. Even his music is about his mouth.

You can't celebrate a loud mouth when it all goes right and disavow it when it all goes wrong.

  16. TalksTooMuch-- as the wife of an active duty green beret....I take issue with the fact that you so easily give a pass to the vile excuse for a human being that is kanye

  17. @ Nutty: good, because I'm not selling it. Kanye is a musician first. All the rest comes after. He talks too much, but he is also baited constantly because people think it's funny because he always bites. I agree with some of his rants, in the righteous speak-truth-to-power way, but it can't all be gold. He doesn't have a lot of connection to reality anymore, like most famous / rich people. Can you honestly say you can't see why he feels constantly under attack or embattled?

  18. I'm tired of all the celebrities, musicians, and actors giving their political views and/or world views. They should stick to entertaining us, now dance monkeys!

  19. And this is news worthy….?

  20. Too, I give Kanye a pass because I think he's not right in the head. It seems that you give him a pass because his momma didn't have money'? I'm just not understanding your argument.

And Jimmie Paige? Why you be raggin' on Jimmie?

  21. I think the first five words of this item's title are probably the biggest understatement of year by Enty. That being said I am not sure there are words to accurately describe that human being.

  22. Good lord, when Harry Knuckles agrees somewhat with me, I'm clearly not explaining myself well. I think Kanye is unfairly targeted. I don't ubderstand the sport of picking on him. Isn't it like shooting giant fishsticks in a tiny barrel?

  23. Is Kanye on the Joaquin Phoenix press tour? His crazy-ass commentary is reaching "I'm Not There" levels. Scratch that, surpassing.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Then what is the excuse for Kanye's physical attacks on photographers?

    ReplyDelete
  25. I think that Kanye West is targeted because of his outbursts in the most inappropriate of places. His "Bush doesn't care about black people" and hijacking Taylor Swift with his "imma let you finish" speech are two examples. It goes way beyond arrogance; it's like he truly feels his opinion is more important than whatever is going on around him.

  26. Kanye has the classic symptoms of a traumatic brain injury, maybe mild one but not all tbi patients are semi-conscience.

  27. For me, Kanye West's douchey image isn't defined by his interviews, it is defined by his non-prompted by the media acts of assholiness: The Taylor Swift thing and the George Bush hates black people thing. Those two incidents were straight up Kanye, no one else. The recent goings-on are just the icing on the cake. And, he's not doing himself any favors with his mouthiness. But, I guess that's his schtick. He seems to have a lot of anger a la Eminem, but Eminem is kinda recluse these days, right?

If Kanye truly loves Kim Kardashian, well god bless, and have a good life. I can't hate on all of these people. But, I can laugh at them.

And honestly, the South Park parody on him was gold. Gold, I say!!

I'm not even sure if Kanye has ever met anyone in the military, at least Tom Cruise has done USO. Sadly, there are probably tons of service men and women who would love to meet Kanye and let him know his music helped keep them going during deployments, but he's too full of himself to appreciate that.

  29. His career is crumbling right now, fact his tour is not selling. He hs barely filling maybe half capacity of the venues. He also cancelled several shows because of poor ticket sales.

    He is alienating the public.

  30. he WAS a talented rapper once upon a time but he decided to get involve with the attention whores family. all the things that comes out from his mouth now is gibberish.

  31. He's clearly overcompensating for having a small penis (literally and figuratively), and is extremely insecure with his masculinity, or lack thereof. Most celebtrities have personality disorders, so probably that too.

  32. As a paramedic, with most of my family either in law enforcement, military or ems, I am disgusted by him. I've always hated him and his inflated ego, but this takes it to another level. He is a douche, An a$$hole, repugnant, and delusional. If anyone defends him on this comment, they are ignorant too.

  33. I wish so badly that I knew a group of police or army people that would agree to shoot a parody video, discussing how busting a meth lab, trying to help a victim of violence, or breaking up a terror gang, is just the same as being a famous singer/celebrity.

I don't though - internet, I gift thee, please someone make this.

  34. Being on the stage isn't a dangerous situation. But it could be with the crap he's saying lately. You in danger, girl, and it's your own fault. That stuff could get him shot.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think Kanye has always been arrogant & believed his own crap. He has always been insecure. I'm not really surprised at what comes put of his mouth because he has always exhibited bits and pieces of this behavior he is just more successful now and has a bigger brand. He admitted he had been drinking when he did that Taylor Swift nonsense I thought and I think that is an issue as well.

  36. He is very Veruca Salt in the way that he wants it all now. It should all be his. He should always be first. No one is special in quite the way he is.
