Glee Star Charice Attempts Suicide - Girlfriend Takes All Her Money
A couple of years ago Charice was the name on a lot of lips. She was a YouTube sensation and was on Oprah's show because of her singing ability. When Oprah says you are "the most talented girl in the world," people stop and take a look. One of those people was Ryan Murphy who cast Charice on Glee. No longer on Glee and not getting high paying gigs, Charice has blown through every dollar she has made and her mother says that Charice tried to kill herself by slashing her wrists. What I heard was that her girlfriend took all of Charice's money and Charice was devastated that the woman lied to her and that their love wasn't real. Charice was head over heels with the woman and I think the one two punch of losing the money and losing the girlfriend who was only after the money crushed her.
Well I hope that cunt gets hit by a bus. I wish Ted Bundy was still alive. I'd introduce her to him. He'd take care of her ass.
ReplyDeleteGood morning everyone! Happy December!
:^)
Yeah, I listen to Oprah when she says someone is talented. /eyeroll
ReplyDeletePoor kid. Peace and light to her.
Very sad. She's so young.
ReplyDeleteThis actually happened a while ago and is not too recent. Her family expected her to support them too. It's very sad.
ReplyDeletecutting wrists is a cry for attention.
ReplyDeleteif she was serious about it, she'd cut down the street, not cut across the street.
Very sad but if all you have in your life is a toxic love of money, chances are things are not going ti end well when you lose it all. You can change the noun to men, women, drugs etc. though and the results are the same. A healthy balance in all things are needed to maintain a good and hsppy life.
ReplyDeleteSuccess is the best revenge, Charice.. hang in there
ReplyDelete@Eros.. so true well said
ReplyDeleteI remember when there was talk of her possibly eclipsing Lea Michele on Glee when the reviews of her first appearance came in...that threat was probably what caused her hasty exit from the show. I see this happening right now to a friend of mine in her job....sometimes one of the worst things you can do is be good at your job, thereby making those in power feel threatened. Sad but true.
ReplyDelete@ aemish Thanks!
ReplyDelete@Eros.. no, thank YOU :p
ReplyDeleteLesson learned...never give your bank info to anyone.
ReplyDeleteHow can she be a star of Glee if she was only on a couple of episodes. Wasn't she the one Rachel sent to an audition at a crackhouse. That only lasted a couple of episodes.
ReplyDeleteWho is this girl? She looks like Snooki if she ate her way out of a locked bakery.
ReplyDeleteIsn't this the same girl who got Botox as a teenager?
ReplyDeleteHer whole story since that Oprah appearance is kind of sad. She and her family were not prepared for the fame and they had no one to help them deal with it. Every time she went to the US for work, people in the Philippines accused her of being disloyal to her country. There were apparently a lot of people who wanted to ride her coattails and get rich off of her.
ReplyDeleteThe Glee thing was odd, they made a lot of noise about her contract, she filmed 2 episodes and then her story line was changed before those episodes even aired and she disappeared until the end of the season. I don't think it was because of Lea, I think something else happened.
When she came out as a lesbian and cut her hair, the backlash against her was horrible and very sad. Personally, I think she needs to leave the Philippines for a while, come back to the US, do some gigs here and get noticed for her great voice again. Everybody loves a winner.
I agree, FS. Thanks for the backstory.
ReplyDelete@FS thanks for the information.
ReplyDelete@FS The Filipinos are proud of Charice (and other Filipinos who gain international fame like Manny Pacquiao, Leah Salonga, etc.). When she started singing abroad, I remember Freddie Aguilar (a local artist) criticized Charice for being a Hollywood sellout and not promoting the Filipino culture in her work. But nobody really paid attention to it. Yes, I believe a lot of people want to ride her coattails and get rich off her. Isn't this a common story among celebrities?
ReplyDeleteWhen she came out, yes, there was backlash. What do you expect from a predominantly Catholic country? But from what I have seen, mostly, the negative reaction came from Charice's mom and her camp and the parents of her fans. But otherwise, the local entertainment industry and her fans were supportive of her. Also, her fans and most Filipino youth praised her for coming out and for being a role model. Re: her hairstyle, she sported ridiculous styles when she hosted The X Factor (Philippine version) and many Pinoy viewers would make fun of it. Same thing happened when she came cut her hair short. I think she really should hire a better stylist.
One small Pinoy TV network and a local gossip blog have reported about Charice's attempted suicide. I'm surprised major Filipino networks haven't picked up the story if it indeed happen.
That said, I wish Charice well. I'm not a fan of her music but she really has talent. I hope she gets over her heartbreak soon and gets back to singing.
who took her money? the ex or the recent one? but that's screwed up. sorry.
