Demi Lovato Leaving X Factor

Demi Lovato hates not being as popular musically as Miley Cyrus and thinks she can be huge if she focuses all of her attention on her career in music so she is quitting X Factor. She is set to go on tour when this season of X Factor ends and will be dragging a bunch of former X Factor contestants with her. Simon Cowell confirmed that Demi is quitting the cushy gig and it is something Demi is going to end up regretting.

She thinks it conflicts with what she wants to do. Umm, then put your other stuff around it. The show pays her millions of dollars a year for very little work. Itgave her access to other performers she is taking on tour with her because she is not a big enough act to sell out this arena tour of hers on her own. The show also gave her structure which she needs with her recover. If the only thing she has going on in her life is music she is going to have a lot of free time. Never a good idea for a recovering addict. She probably also thinks the publicity wave she is riding will continue. Why? X Factor publicists are the ones who set it all up. Right now she is relevant and a story every single week X Factor is airing or filming. Without the show she becomes Jennifer Lopez minus the bad acting in movies. Hmm, where did Jennifer Lopez return to after a short absence? American Idol. Where did Christina Aguilera return to after a short absence? The Voice. Why? Because they are great jobs with great exposure. Simon Cowell is a fickle person and once Demi leaves she may never be invited back. Ever.
