#4 - This married A list film actress by name, but with a body of work that makes her B list, unless of course we are talking about her actual body, then it might be a B+ spent most of her time at a charity event and a store opening away from all her fans. Even though she was being paid big bucks to attend each event, she spent most of the evening doing line after line with her "assistant" who is a good looking guy, but doesn't speak English or appear to do anything but keep our actress company.

ReplyDeleteI watched Red 2 last night and found both Bruce Willis and even the usually wonderful Mary Louise Parker downright boring next to John Malkovich, Dame Helen Mirren, and Catherine Zeta Jones (and, of course, Anthony Hopkins). They owned the movie. Catherine's bangs acted better than bored Bruce Willis.

DeleteHey! I watched that too last night! I actually cringed when I saw CZJ, too orange and too try hard. Awkward all around. Then I fell asleep. I loved Malkovich and Mirren, of course, and I thought it was awesome that the guy that played Han got to have some lines and character development, instead of just kick people in the throat.

DeleteCZJ is a fabulous character in some of the roles she's played. She plays the conniving bitch well. That movie with George Clooney, Chicago, Entrapment, etc..all excellent. I don't know if she's method to the extreme, but she captures the hell out of them. She was great in Catherine the Great, too, now that i think of it.

I don't think I'm going to judge the coke use. When you're depressed or in the depressed part of bipolar disorder and you're not on meds or they just aren't working right, you will try or take ANYTHING to feel better. Trust me. Sad but true.
