This A list cable talk show host has always been known to have a big ego, but this might be taking it one step too far. The cable network for whom he works is required to post ads for his show on as many billboards as possible which can be seen by him on his drive to and from the studio. If he sees a billboard that does not have him on it he apparently has a fit.
Bill Maher
Oh, Bill, you're such an asshole...but I can't help it, I still love ya!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm in the minority, but I like his HBO show. Also loved Religulous.
ReplyDeletemeh
ReplyDeleteUgh, I cannot stand this guy. He came to my college shortly after 9/11 and proceeded to alienate the entire crowd with awful racist rants. Who on earth would find him funny or smart or entertaining??
ReplyDeleteBlue, what did he say? Racist how?/anti muslim? Interesting
DeleteReno his show is brilliant and he's very funny. I'll still watch it even if he's asshole.
ReplyDeleteIt's not his fault. It's because he's 4 feet tall. I blame Napoleon
ReplyDeleteHahaha TTM. Perfect.
DeleteI don't believe this story as it is told. There has to b more to it.
ReplyDeleteIve never thought he was a funny comedian nor a very good political /current events commentator.
ReplyDeleteLove him! And hahahahahhaha.
ReplyDeleteHe is such a douche bag
ReplyDeleteHe's a total jerk, but I really like him also…but would never date him, not that I'm his type anyway…
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like something he was BS-ing someone on and some dufus overheard it.
ReplyDelete@Liddy, yes, anti muslim. All dark skinned men should shave so we don't mistake them for terrorists. He talked about how anyone protesting a potential invasion of Afghanistan should be tied to a bomb and dropped in Afghanistan. Just the typical, angry, ignorant BS. He argued with students in the audience. People booed, some walked out. Just extremely disappointing. I really liked his late night show and I thought the event would be entertaining and progressive... not so.
ReplyDeleteBill Maher is a very smart man, and I totally respect that. But what a garbage dump of a human being.
ReplyDeleteI've known Bill for 15+ years, he's a handful of a person but I'm confident that this is bullshit.
ReplyDeleteTotally believable. Typical narcissist.
ReplyDeleteHe's always been a douchebag. The smug little prick needs his ass kicked.
ReplyDeleteHe's always been a douchebag. The smug little prick needs his ass kicked.
ReplyDeleteI don't trust anyone that assumes his beliefs are a 100% for sure.
ReplyDeleteI respect his talent, but ever since hearing his attitudes toward women, I just can't interest myself in watching him.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Bill Maher. He's a brilliant comedian and I've liked all of his talk shows. I don't believe this billboard shit and I don't believe he's a racist.
ReplyDeleteHim jerking off in his dressing room before every show - that I believed.
He seems like a bitter little man to me. Delusional, usually. Can't stand him.
ReplyDeleteSounds like BS to me too. Bill may be a lot of things but vain ain't one of them.
ReplyDeleteNonsense. This one sounds like "Enty" couldn't come up with any dirt one day and so pulled this fiction out of his or her hind quarters. The vain celebrity demand described here isn't even possible.
ReplyDeleteHe is an arrogant fuckweasel but I love his show and how very smart he is.
ReplyDeleteI sat at a table with him at a fund raiser leading up to the 10 year anniversary of 9/11. He was BY FAR the most racist man at the table that included a bunch of Republican politicians. It never ceases to amaze me that if a man spouts the Liberal talking points he can also be a racist, homophobic or anything and get a pass.
ReplyDeleteStill love him! And i still would!
ReplyDeleteI find this to be completely hilarious. This is the male equivalent of female celebs hanging 1,000 photographs of themselves on the walls of their homes. (Paris, Mimi)
ReplyDeleteHe is an idiot. This guy is a germ denialist and anti-vaxxer.

Requiring so many billboards along the commute is a bit much, but I don't blame him for wanting to be included on all of the ads. It's his show! It doesn't even make sense from a business standpoint to advertise the show without his image.
