Blind Items Almost Revealed
April 26, 2013
This former A list mostly movie actor who achieved such results only thanks to a franchise and has since been demoted to B-, and maybe even C+ has had a tough time getting work. He has been booked for a few things in the past year but has been such a drunken mess that no one wants to work with him any longer. When you can't remember your lines, show up to work late and throw up over your co-workers, then you don't get hired.
It's not Shia. This actor solely owes any fame he has to the franchise role. He was in nothing before it.
Brendan Fraser?
ReplyDeleteThat guy from Avatar?
ReplyDeleteFraser
ReplyDeleteDan Rad
Orly
Paul Walker
Were the popular guesses
Orlando?
ReplyDeleteHayden Christiensen
ReplyDeleteR Pats?

ReplyDeleteTobey
ReplyDeleteDanielle Radcliff?
ReplyDeleteMy guesses are:
ReplyDeleteRadcliff,
R-Patz
Avatar is a franchise now...
ReplyDeleteI guess it cant be Fraser because he was known before Mummy and Dan Rad works. Hayden seems like a good guess but I thought he was just so poor an actor he couldn't get work.
ReplyDeleteThere's tons of no talent people working: Jessica biel, hell! January Jones! Horrible actress!, shit! Arnold Schwarzenneger is still around!
DeletePattison
ReplyDeleteDan was also in a few movies before Potter.
ReplyDeleteBloom or one of the people in the Twilight films...never watched any so no idea who anyone is in those films or if they've been in other things.
ReplyDeleteAlso possibly Daniel Radcliffe, he's admitted some drinking issues but seems mostly to keep control enough at least to keep working.
Not RP - was in Harry Potter and a few other things before Twilight. It says this person was in nothing before. I'm liking the Radcliffe guess.
ReplyDeleteCan't be bloom and Radcliffe, they would've lost their gigs in theatre. There is no way this (blind item) person would've been able to work in theatre.
ReplyDeleteFraser is well known because of his pre Mummy movies: air Heads, Blast from the Past, With Honors, School Ties, George of the Jungle.
This is Pattinson.
ReplyDeleteThis reads like Daniel Radcliffe but like mentioned, he does theatre and there would be n intervention before they just decided he wasn't worth it. He's actually a good actor.
ReplyDeleteWhat are the "franchises?"
Harry Potter
Pirates of the Carribean
Transformers
Mission Impossible
Spiderman
Bourne
Avengers
Terminator
Twilight series
Bond
Jurassic Park
Star Wars
Lethal Weapon
Planet of the Apes
Narnia
X-Men..Long list really
Wasn't Worthington in the Clash of the Titans franchise though before Avatar?
ReplyDeleteYes he was @Montana.
DeleteAlso RPatz was in Harry Potter before Twilight.
Zac Efron?
ReplyDeleteTaylor lautner
ReplyDeleteTaylor Lautner was in spy kids
ReplyDeleteTaylor Lautner? Are you forgetting the smash masterpiece that was Shark Boy and Lava Girl???? I guarantee you my now-teenage nieces haven't! I do kinda like the astronomy guess, though, given all we've learned about him since April.
ReplyDeleteBloom was in LOTR and pirates, not to mention was one of the few returning characters for the Hobbit, if he was such a mess I'm sure they wouldn't have brought him in for that
ReplyDeleteGah, that was supposed to say Zac Efron guess.
ReplyDeleteRadcliffe is filming Frankenstein right now. Phew!
ReplyDeleteI would say Brendan Faser, but he was acting before The Mummy. The Mummy did make him an A list, but he still was a working actor.
ReplyDeleteOrlando has nothing going on, except for another Hobbit movie.
Zac Efron is another good guess.
Oh darn...forgot Orly was in Pirate AND the Lord of the Rings...so probably not him.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Brendan or Zac.
I agree with Scissors about Anakin Skywalker. He is my go to guess whenever a blind mentions Franchise and Doesn't Work. C+ might be a little too high of a rating though.
ReplyDeleteHayden was in a Kevin Cline movie called Life as a House before his franchise.
DeleteGreat flick
Mc Lovin
ReplyDeleteWhat about Zac Efron? Franchise would be HS Musical. I don't know....
ReplyDeleteI was going to say Chris Tucker, but he was in stuff before Rush Hour....
ReplyDeleteI like the Taylor Lautner guess. Assume Enty thinks Twilight was his first real movie.
ReplyDeleteMcCauley Culken
ReplyDeleteSadly this sounds like Daniel Radcliffe. The blind says he acheived is former A status from a franchise, not that it was his first role. And he has done well in theater, but again, it states he's had a tough time with work lately. He was very forthcoming a couple of years ago about his alcoholism, saying he was out of control and even drinking during filming of HP, but that he quit. There were a lot of rumors going around this year he was off the wagon.
ReplyDeleteMost of these actors have been in stuff before....even daniel was in a lot of TV stuff in britain (David Copperfield) and the thing he's in with Jon Hamm is doing really well here. Have no idea. Rob pattison was in Harry Potter before too.

ReplyDeleteKellan Lutz
ReplyDeleteJohnny Knoxville, duh
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, yeah, both DanRad and Pattinson have been successful in things since their big franchises. Not to the same popularity of course. They both do drink heavily though.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Hayden C. is a drinker. Hmmm.
K Lutz@Monica
ReplyDeleteNot Orlando. He's a regular on "Homeland".
ReplyDeleteTaylor Lautner, the poor closeted, stage-daddy-nightmare little thing, or Pattinson - with Pattinson having a bigger rep as a hard drinker.
ReplyDeleteHayden Christiansen's another poor thing, but I don't know if he's been on any job that didn't involve selling his ass in quite some time.
Zac Efron's not a bad guess either. Not subtle, given his recent travails, but he's still a contender.
I'll go with Lautner since RPatz has picked up more work.
R Pattz
