This permanent A list singer/celebrity who is foreign born has no problems with people knowing he cheats on his wife. He says that she goes to public events with him but that he is a rock star and he is going to live the life of a rock star and she is too scared of the church to ever divorce him.

ReplyDeleteMight also be Mormon. As for Catholics, divorce-fear depends on which part of the country the person grew up in, and the community culture there. Atlanta will divorce quicker than New Jersey or Chicago. Unlikely the wife is evangelical. A background of horrid sin and love-gone-wrong makes a personal testimony more interesting with warnings to others not to follow the same path of debachery.

Church of Ireland is Anglican/Episcopal, ie, Protestant. Not Catholic.
ReplyDeleteIrish are mostly Roman Catholics! The Church of Ireland is the Irish branch of the Anglican church, as there's a reformed minority (± 8%) in the Republic of Ireland, the opposite situation to Ulster.
