Blind Item #6
This former A list tweener was out to eat this weekend and tried to get a table at a very very popular place. It was lunch and she pushed her way to the front of the long long line of people waiting to get a table or there with reservations. The now B- list mostly movie actress told the hostess there would be two people and they would like a table by the window. The ensuing conversation went as you would expect it would and the actress screamed as she was leaving that she would never eat at the place. Umm, yeah, but your assistant will go get a to go order the next day and bring it you huh?
This blind was just stoopid.
ReplyDeleteManners cost nothing (endlessly repeated to my children). Especially when whoever this is clearly sounds like their glory days are long gone.
ReplyDeleteOh and our house rule (again endlessly repeated) - treat others as you would like to be treated.
We are super twee in our house.
DeleteVanessa Hudgens

Vanessa is a great guess.
ReplyDeleteOh very good guess of Vanessa Hudgens. But wait, she has an assistant? Why the hell do these people need assistants when they never work?
ReplyDeleteI think that all of the time when I read about these people... what are you doing that you need an assistant??? And why cant these "assistants" find something better to do than the bidding of a nobody? Jmo
DeleteTehehehe, seriously?
ReplyDeleteShe "pushed" her way to the front? Awesome visual. Hopefully she was "frantic" when she "pushed" her way to the front.
She got through the crowd by shoving a loose child at them and asking them to hold it,thereby distracting them . She then sat on the wait bench crying until the hostess asked who she was. This has Been blown out of proportion!
Delete@Violet My children always hear "You can't buy class"
ReplyDeleteI wad gonna say Hudgebs too fits the rating and nasty ass tude.
ReplyDelete@Violet and @Oneeyecharlie..
ReplyDeleteTrust me it works! I was/is the manners enforcer in my house.
It really is a great feeling when someone who knows them more then you, tells you how helpful, kind and respectful and polite your kids are.
Now for this twit in the blind.. why hasn't someone smacked them upside their head yet?
what do they think is going to happen? the hostess is going to go over to a table and tell people they need to get up because they need the table for someone else who is throwing a tantrum? so dumb
ReplyDeleteJust another day in weirdoworld, im sure.

ReplyDeleteI hope it's not Vanessa Hudgens! i have a girl-crush on her -- they did some photo shoot with her where she was done up like a New Wave singer from 1980. No idea why she hasn't changed her style to look like that every day...
ReplyDeleteI love it when restaurant staff dish it back to tantrum-throwing celebrities.
ReplyDeleteI used to work in a very high-end West LA restaurant which was often very busy. Stars or their assistants would call ahead and actually book tables. Madonna's people used to call a couple of days in advance because she wanted privacy AND a completely vegan menu. That's the way to do it.
Steve Martin, Harrison Ford, Jodie Foster, John Lithgow, Alec Baldwin (who was actually always very well-mannered), Sean Penn, Julia Roberts, Jim Carrey - all of them were regulars/semi-regulars (not to mention tons of lesser TV stars) Not one of them pitched fits, stiffed waiters or demanded special treatment or food (Madonna was the only one who wanted special menus, but it wasn't an intractable demand - her people just asked if it was possible). And because of this: they got special treatment.
Only ill-mannered C-listers like Hudgens pull stunts like this.
