Blind Item #4

This American Idol sensation for just a brief second in a William Hung kind of way is HIV+.

  1. No idea but I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with these sort of blinds. Extra curricular activities, drug snorting hell yes, but why should we speculate on someone's personal health issues?

  2. what a horrible blind. it's private and should remain that way -- no one should speculate publicly about it!
That's not fun gossip, that's devastating and should be confidential. FFS.

  4. Sanjaya dated Holly Montag (Heidi's sister) for a while---I think he is more famous than a William Hung --he wrote a book--yeah I know...who knows who cares---

    1. Haha @Folly, was that a joke? If you were serious, then no, it can't be Clay. He wasn't famous in a "Willism Hung" kind of a way.

--Not a Claymate but still aware of the difference

  10. It's Entern's version of old Hollywood'ish "clutching of the pearls" gossip - think Rock Hudson and Liberace. Involves sex (SCANDAL!) and disease from sex (ESCANDOLO!) and possibly homosexual escapades (ESCANDELABRA!).

  11. Yeah, upon reflection, I'm kind of ashamed that I even had the first guess. It just popped into my head. :-/

  12. He wasn't famous like Sanjaya but what about that Nathaniel twink who is now in gay porn?

    ReplyDelete
  13. William Hung kind of way, meaning he was gawd awful. I don't remember his name, but the gay kid who gooed his drawers when Aiken walked out on stage during the season finale to do a song with him. I think it was the same year that one judge broad ripped her dress off doing a song with the bikini bim.

  14. Hey Rach! Where ya been baby? Miss seeing you here.

I too believe we should keep that persons health private. If they want to disclose, fine, but this kind of crosses a line for me personally. Not judging anyone else who wants to guess if course.

  15. Christ on a crutch, insinuating someone is HIV+ is ridiculous. Imagine the shoe being in the other foot and your whole hometown gossiping about you being +.

I'm all for the sex, drugs, and rock n roll, but damn this is and the molesting crap is a line that doesn't need to be crossed.

  16. F8CK OFF to the A$$HOLE who runs this site. I dare you to print this. No wonder you've been discredited by everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I hope it's not Sanjaya. Sad. :(

  18. If you're going to take the moral high ground, it helps if you're not attempting to do it in the comments section of a semi-discredited gossip site known for its sleazy blind items.

  19. Who is that Pants on the Ground dude? Sanjaya couldn't carry a tune in a bucket but he wasn't embarrassingly, mockingly bad, just regular bad.

  20. sounds like sanjaya, wasnt he seen singing for tips at the train station

  21. Sure, you can talk about STDs.

Another porn dude who works gay side and straight side popped hot for the Hi 5. This is like the 3rd time this year that the LA porn industry has been shut down.

Ridiculous that many companies on the gay side don't require tests for fear of stigmatizing + performers. Instead, they put gay side and straight side performers at risk. If they feel the need to support + performers, then just make + only videos.

I also read that Canada is attempting to "decriminalize HIV", meaning they are attempting to have it no longer a crime to knowingly infect someone. Possible I am off on this, as I heard it from a Canadian, didn't read up on it.

  22. Yeah, maybe Sanjaya

  23. +1 MadLyb. The blog should be renamed Sleazy Street and a warning posted Definitely Not For Everyone.

  24. Tell 'em Madlyb. Don't like the thread? Don't comment. There are others.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @signwithclass, I wouldn't go that far. Registering disgust if the author is asking for it is the natural thing to do. I interpreted MadLyb's comment as taking issue with the way CJ James expressed that disgust, not the fact that he/she did. I could be wrong though.

  26. Sanjaya was on AI for weeks and weeks, not just a brief second. There was the pants on the ground dude, and the "I am your brother" guy, thinking it's likely one of those two.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I hope if i'm ever HIV+ I can tell the world. No issues with this blind. No different than cancer.

    ReplyDelete
  28. It is not Sanjiya - he made the top ten. It is that guy who sang and I am telling you all crazy like for the final 24 to top ten performances. His alter ego was Norman Gentle?

    ReplyDelete
  29. None of our business and HIV is no longer a death sentence, its controlled with drugs and people affected live long healthy lives.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Norman Gentle just to be different

  31. This is disgraceful.

  34. And no, I don't have a clue or a guess. Just wrong.

  35. to "signwithclass"--your comment makes no sense. This is a public forum-of course the point of public comments is to make public responses.I'm not going to be silent while some internet nutjob reveals peoples hiv status.don't like what i've said? don't respond-there are other posts.

  36. @Count, we've been through this before. You're talking about Rod Daily who is supposed to be "straight" i.e. Gay for Pay but he and his porn actress girlfriend bot worked as escorts on the side.

We don't know who gave whom the disease but we do know that Rod never did a single bareback scene in gay porn. We do know that straight porn almost never uses condoms and relies on testing that require long periods of time after exposure to test positive.

In gay porn there are three types of studios:

    1) Condom only - same older cheap tests as straight porn if company is reputable.

    2) Condom-free with the latest RNA by PCR test which have an exposure window of days and mouth swab takes minutes. Expensive ($100s a time) but lucrative to companies who charge more for almost safe bareback scenes.

    3) Bareback studios who assume all their actors are HIV+. They are gross but actors who have worked for these studios aren't generally allowed to do BB scenes with other studios/straight porn.

Yes, I know too much about gay porn but please stop perpetuating the myth that gay porn actors are spreading their gay disease to the oh so pure straight porn world.

Remember that after the HIV crisis began, every gay studio went condom only and almost no straight studio did. The tests back then were a joke.

  37. MrJack: I don't think it is a gay disease, I just think the gay side should require tests. Straight side, almost across the board, has gone to 15day testing. I don't know that much about exposure time and the different tests, because that stuff bores me.

I'm not just talking about Rod Daily. TJ Cummings is the latest guy to test + and he worked both sides of the industry also, as did Derrick Burts, the last porn + prior to the Phoenix trio.

Until a straight side only performer tests hot, I will think that testing is working better than condoms. Practically all of the porn whores are doing privates, whether they are $10k/night in a mansion or $200/hr at a Red Roof Inn, and you don't see them at the center of an industry wide shutdown.

    ReplyDelete
  38. @Count - I didn't mean to lecture you. I know you're not homophobic or anything. The fact is though that so many people assume that the gay porn industry doesn't regulate itself like the straight side does when in fact it has been doing more historically that the straight side. It's probably about even now I guess and that is to say that all the major studios on both sides have their models tested and on the gay side they mostly wear condoms. The fact is though, these are porn stars we're talking about and many are also prostitutes. You can't know someone's been in their off hours or what they've been up to. And of course, you get the cheap sleazy studios who don't give a fuck about model sexual health on both sides. I only watch the stuff from the big studios which heavily self-regulate and provide proof that they do. The other stuff skeeves me out when I think about the bio-hazard I'm watching unfold. Not to mention the guys normally look like really ugly crack heads.

  39. I think it's a good idea that HIV+ entertainers are known. So many of them take advantage of their fans sexually, and hook ups without telling them because even a D lister in this town believes they are entitled to do what they want at others expense. I would like to think that anyone pos would be honest but that isn't reality, and it could save lives. Almost everyone in H'wood has herpes and other permanent goodies that they pass along with no regard.

    ReplyDelete
  40. @unknown, that is just against the law. People should be personally responsible for who they sleep with and what sort of protection they use. I wouldn't with a celeb, period.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Also, there are plenty of people who aren't celebs who don't divulge that information.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @mr jack: I know you aren't lecturing me, and I know you know how I feel, but some may not have read or remember our last debate, so I felt the need to restate that I'm not anti-gay/gay porn. I've learned more reading you posts on the subject of testing/procedures on the gay side than on any porn blog.

It probably does all boil down to off camera tricks, otherwise we would find out who this latest mope caught the bug from.

Even last year w/ Mr. Marcus and the syphilis, there was no great effort to find out where he got it.

  43. Famous in a William Hung way? Pants on the ground dude.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The pants on the ground dude, Larry whatever, was an old military man from Ga, I don't see this grandpa being the answer.
I still say Sanjaya, because I don't think most ppl thought he should make it in the competition, and he became the butt of jokes. In any event, rough news.
