This former A list rocker who is now just a guy trying to get a job checks into a hotel do go on his drug binges even if his house is just a few minutes away. he says that it keeps him from doing drugs everyday. Yeah, just five days a week instead.
I have no idea what he's like now, but in the mid-80s, Eddie and his wife used to shop at the Bill's Drug Store my step-father worked out. Their credit cards all had coke residue on them.
Billy Squier has had a resurgence lately due to a confusing remix of one of his songs, right? I think that was him. That sounds like an expensive way to probably not really hide a habit. Maybe he just likes fresh sheets
I just watched the episodes of Californication where Rick Springfield played a really nasty version of Rick Springfield. Very, very funny. Especially when he was hitting on Susan Sarandon's daughter Eva Amurri Martino. He started singing Jesse's Girl & she looked like she had no idea who he was or why this sleazy guy was singing to her.
Eddie Money still tours regularly, and looks and sounds great. I just saw him a few months ago and he has one of his daughters on stage with him. Ringo Starr also tours regularly, and in no way would be a former A List. He will always, always be A with many, many ++++++++++++++!
I hate to say it, but '5 days a week' sounds like a guy who has a family.
ReplyDeleteUGH!
Eddie Money or Billy Squier. If truly a rocker then its Tyler.
ReplyDelete@Sandybrook I first read that as Eddie Murphy. Party All The Time was legit.
DeleteI have no idea what he's like now, but in the mid-80s, Eddie and his wife used to shop at the Bill's Drug Store my step-father worked out. Their credit cards all had coke residue on them.
DeleteEddie Money, not Murphy.
DeleteSteve Tyler? I thought he was clean.
ReplyDeleteFive ain't seven,at least. I hope the guy accepts help before he can't earn the checks. Self delusion is always the last to go before the toe tag
ReplyDeleteGavin?
ReplyDeleteNot as clean as he wants everyone to think Tru Leigh. He comes and goes.
ReplyDeleteBut Eddie Murphy isn't a rocker. But I agree he partied all the time with Rick James and probably Linda Blair @Kristin.
ReplyDeleteRick Springfield.
ReplyDeleteRick Springfield.
ReplyDeleteRichie Sambora.
ReplyDeleteAgreed
DeleteRichie Sambora.
ReplyDeleteDamn you, Kristin! I now have Party All the Time stuck in my head! Just damn you!!
ReplyDeleteOh, as usual, I got no guess. ;)
Billy Squier has had a resurgence lately due to a confusing remix of one of his songs, right? I think that was him. That sounds like an expensive way to probably not really hide a habit. Maybe he just likes fresh sheets
ReplyDelete@Sandybrook I meant I read your Eddie Money guess as Eddie Murphy at first :)
ReplyDelete@Rhysie He was so earnest about that song in his video, singing it with such vigor and force he made the heavens tremble.
@Kristin, I recall well seeing that video allllllll the time (!) and playing all the time at the clubs I went to.
ReplyDeleteWtf were we thinking? LOL
I'm feeling the Sambora guess.
ReplyDeleteI think eminem has put some Billy Squire in his new album @TTM.
ReplyDeleteDont be knocking Party All the Time I have it on my IPOD.
Aw, Sandy, it is rather infectious, isn't it? Besides, it reminds me of a certain time, so I can't hate it.
DeleteNo not Eddie money! ! I guess he meant it when he said "I Dont want to wait until I see the light"
ReplyDeleteParty all the time!
ReplyDeleteDave Navarro
ReplyDeleteYeah Rhysie it is and back then was good times anyhow. (But who knew Eddies girl who partied all the tine was prolly a boychik? )
ReplyDeleteI think VIP fell into a Eddie Murphy FFF k-hole.
ReplyDeleteOh Ritchie:(
ReplyDeleteMarilyn Manson. he once talked about abandoning his house and moving into a small room uptown to 'be inspired'.
ReplyDeleteRingo Starr? "5 days a week" a hint as in "8 days a week"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VadngOGKlP0
ReplyDeleteTom Cruise

ReplyDeleteOk, heres what I got out if this: I was just at BJs and wish i had bought giant bag of m+ms!! ( cos someone mentioned eimiem, lol)
ReplyDeleteEddie Murphy recorded Party All The Time in Rick James' basement studio, back when he lived in my home town. Just thought I would share that, LOL.
ReplyDeleteSee! Party All the Time is a generational milestone that binds us all together!
ReplyDeleteI can hear that damn song in my head. It's like flashback radio, all 80's all the time.
ReplyDeleteI think this is Janice Dickinson's long lost twin brother Steven Tyler.

Eminem's new sing Berzerk laid over Stroke by Billy Squier is AWESOME. Nothing confusing about it.
ReplyDeleteI think this could be Sambora.
Also, Rick Sprjngfield is hugely talented and also awesome. The end.
