Blind Item #2

This former A list mostly television actor from a very hit network show who is a B lister now on a middling cable show was out shopping and no one paid him any attention so he started causing a scene which got people to notice him and then when they did he asked the store for some security and that he was far too busy to handle the crush of his fans. Most of the fans had looked up at the scene and noticed who was causing it and then gone back to what they were doing.

  4. Kramer from Seinfeld Michael Richards.

OT Dave Chappelle did 2 comedy shows in my town the other night and nothing bad happened and he went out after the shows and even talked to ppl who approached him in the bar he was at.

    1. @Sandybrook I like the Michael Richards guess. He's on Kirstie Alleys new(ish) show?

Chappelle is still the best. Saw him a couple months ago and he was onstage for almost 3 hours and was funnier than the half dozen comedians before him.

Ps-So Tim Allen is a touchy subject???

  5. He had a breakdown, right? Good to see he's back at it

  6. Love these shoppers! They are probably like I am around the holidays, get in, get what I need, and get out! Don't have time for crazy scenes! I finished all my shopping before the 15th because I don't think I could handle the stupidity of people the closer it got to Christmas. Lol

  7. Nobody really knows what happened he just quit his show one night and disappeared. Everyone thinks it was drugs tho. One thing tho he has apparently packed on a lotta muscle and isn't skinny anymore.

  8. @ sandybrook (sorry, almost always forget the @) I wonder what that means? Steroids? I thought it was a "can't handle the fame" thing

  9. Yeah @Kristin hes on that show. And he would want attention because hes a loser.

As far as Chappelle you only hear the bad things like him being heckled and walking off the stage after 3 minutes and not coming back. Here there were stops no cameras were allowed into the building or heckling allowed. But he did get heckled a couple of times but he took it and heckled back.

  10. @TTM probably not steroids and since no pics were allowed no one can tell how much weight he added in muscle just that he wasn't skinny anymore. The story says he looks noticeably more muscular than the days on Comedy Central. As far as walking away--he was king of Comedy Central and had just signed a long-term contract to stay that for millions when he just quit and disappeared.

  11. From his interviews, he just didn't want what came along with the fame, packed his shit, and went home to his family in Ohio. If you check out his Inside the Actors Studio interview, it's pretty enlightening and funny as hell.

  12. I cant say I blame him. The prices of fame these days no privacy all scrutiny etc. If it made him happy to do that good for him!

  13. michael richards is mainly a comedian and not an actor though.

  14. Almost got thrown out of a Jackie Martling show for heckling back in the day, at Club Bene. We had 2 carloads of lunatics 2-3 doobies and a case of beer in each car, for the drive up there.

I bought the tickets so early that we were second table from the stage, and the people with the table at the stage didn't show up. First 15 minutes of his act was trying to beatdown hecklers from all over the crowd. We were too close and irritating though. Fun times.

I'd go see Fred's band again, but not really Jackie. Music is easier to hear again than fart jokes.

  15. Au contraire Nancer. I would consider Michel Richards an actor who does stand up. I certainly equate him more with the Seinfeld show than stand up. JMO.

I guess any notice is better than none at all.

    1. Yes Sherry - his n word fiasco ended his acting career. I did notice he is going to be on some cable show though.

  16. @Count ive always thought that comedians WANT to be heckled because it means they connected with the crowd and are getting a reaction plus they get to improvise by heckling back.

  17. Oh the Jackie thing was over the top. Old school Stern fans were nuts, and we were all relentless.

I went to see Private Parts the night it opened. Entire theater full of rowdy drunks. About 15seconds into the first preview a guy yells out "F PREVIEWS". Crowd went nuts cheering him and BOOM, previews stopped and the movie started.

Chappelle has been known to do the hypersensitive butthurt thing. I'd never take the risk and buy a ticket to one of his shows.

  18. OT I was watching TCM and they had a lovely tribute to actors and industry people lost this year. It was more than lovely because I fell in love with this beautiful song. Even the Opster stopped doing the front lock to listen. Can't make it clicky sorry guys.

  19. What a weirdo. I don't think Matt LeBlanc though. Saw him a couple of times and he doesn't think a lot of himself or anything.
