If you have some time today you should head over to
Radar who has e-mails and pages from the deposition of Tom Cruise in his lawsuit against In Touch which claimed he abandoned Suri. This is why he should have settled long before the deposition or not even filed suit. He is not going to win and he has proven every point people have argued about families being split by Scientology. In the deposition he admits Katie Holmes is a SP and that Scientology played a big part in the couple's divorce. He also admitted that Nicole Kidman has never seen Isabella and Connor since the couple got divorced. Nicole has always claimed she sees them infrequently and talks to them and this basically calls her a liar. The reason she can't see them? She is a SP so the kids can't have any contact with her.
One thing Tom's people say in some e-mails which shows you how celebrities work is that Katie lets the paps know she is leaving her building which is why when she first got divorced they would be there on the days she was looking good and absent on days when she wasn't. I have no doubts she called them because it is what celebrities do. When you see a celebrity getting papped in their own neighborhood or walking into a business directly after getting out of their car they called. Sure, if it is a night and a popular place then there might be a pap or two or the pumpkin patch all the celebrities go to there are paps waiting there the whole day but for the most part they are doing the calling themselves.
Such a heartwarming religion. Yuck. I cannot imagine having to give up my child(ren) because u decide to get a divorce. Scientology IS the devil. If one truly exists.

DeleteSP= Suppressed Person. Someone who is no longer involved in the Church of Scientology and is no longer allowed to communicate with members of the church.
Actually, SP stands for Suppressive Person. Basically, an SP is someone that is viewed as an enemy of the CoS. Simply leaving the Church, as incredible as that sounds, gets one labeled as an SP. Once labeled an SP, the CoS will watch you as best they can for as long as they can. They will make attempts to interfere in your life away from the Church in order to induce you to return. "Come back Aemish, and we'll let you see your kids again and we'll stop coming to your house and knocking on your door every morning and we'll stop following you around when you go for groceries." This is for real.

ReplyDelete@ Rebecca is so right! I know I've seen pictures of those kids with Nicole. Me and the boyfriend saw Nicole and Isabella at the Grove (mall) like 2007...they were tailed by Scientology goons. We thought it was weird because we had just seen Connor with Katie a week prior at the same mall and he looked like he wanted to escape.

ReplyDeleteIf the leaked portions of the deposition are accurate, he made admissions absolutely devastating to his case. He could lose because he he admitted the basic truth of what the tabloid claimed - that he basically abandoned his daughter after the divorce. The tab's use of the word "abandon" is distasteful but not libelous.

ReplyDeleteI try not to make any judgements on Nicole and her parenting of those two children. Xenu made Nicole go away, and she did not have the clout at the time to fight Tom Cruise for her children, not to mention she was dealing with a miscarriage and her husband leaving her. No doubt she was too beat down to fight the crazies.
The kids were also firmly ensconced in the church at the time they divorced, so they probably would have thought of Nicole as a SP and wouldn't have wanted to go with her. She has said several times they don't even call her "mom", they call her "Nicole".
It's rather heartbreaking to think about. Someday someone will win an oscar for acting this whole sad story out.
DeleteIf you read some of Marty Rathbun's statements, he freely admits that at the time he was actively working to convince Connor and Isabella that Nicole was a sociopath (aka SP) so they would want to stay with Tom and away from their mother. I think poor Nicole was run over by a steam roller and had no idea what was happening until it was too late.

But I'd been wondering about pap shots, especially when there's a flurry of them - shopping, working out, dog walk, etc. And I couldn't figure out how AnnE managed to be papped so frequently leading up to the Oscars because DUMBO is rather quiet as a neighborhood. I think katie was true love for tom and I think they may still have feelings for each other.. It seemed that katie always had mixed feelings about the divorce and in every pap pic she just looked miserable. I kind of feel sorry for them both and suri but tom made this bed. He chose scientology over his marriage.

He freely admits not seeing Suri for months, yet that he still continued to travel to and attend his Xenu events, because they're "important".

ReplyDeleteIsabella and Connor were at Kidman's wedding. Isabella was photographed shopping with Kidman a month later. Both kids were with her in Oz while filming "Australia". She doesn't sound like an SP to me.

Before Katie split, Suri looked like a pouty brat in photos, often papped mid-tantrum & dressed inappropriately . High heels on a 4 year old, in public? Super fancy & expensive designer clothes, out late at night for events.

ReplyDeleteA bigger question I have is why hasn't Katie attacked these allegations? Regardless of the truth of the matter, wouldn't she want to protect her 7-year-old daughter from this type of front-page scandal? After all, Suri is the one who is going to be hurt the most from all this.
