Teresa Guidice Close To Plea Deal
Apparently Teresa Giudice was very close to making a deal with federal prosecutors before balking at the stringent terms they would require which include at least a $1M fine and many years of probation. There has even been talk of a suspended sentence which would be reinstated if she failed to comply. After she balked prosecutors added the two new charges which she plead not guilty to yesterday.
Prosecutors want her to accept a deal prior to the holidays. Whether the world holidays means next week and Thanksgiving or next month prior to Christmas remains unknown but the terms would be strict and if she slipped up she would be gone to prison in a heartbeat. There is no deal on the table for Joe and he refuses to consider a plea which would involve jail time. Prosecutors will make a deal with him but it has to include at least five years in jail and a large fine. As part of the deal he would not be deported provided he not commit any future crimes.
They are just goners.
ReplyDeleteMartha Stewart went to jail but Teresa Giudice walks? That ain't right.
ReplyDeleteReally. With all the charges they're facing, the plea deals being offered are golden, but their self-entitled mentalities are incapable of grasping it.
ReplyDeleteWhy won't he be sent back to his country, he's a criminal who committed millions of dollars worth of fraud, he's not a citizen why would our country allow him to stay in the USA? She's a lying POS thief and should be on her hands and knees thanking the government for not putting her in prison for 20 years. Get the names of her attorney's because apparently they have incriminating photos of the prosecutors and can cut any deal they want with the government.
ReplyDeleteSo much for justice, it really is different if you are "rich", even if you are fake rich.
ReplyDeleteYou pay for a great attorney. You get a great attorney. Everyone knows a good attorney knows the law. A great attorney knows the Judge. Speaking as someone who wishes they could afford a great attorney or hell even a good one :)
DeleteJoe needs to be deported no matter what. He wouldn't get to stay in any other country in the world with all these charges.
ReplyDeleteEither way they will be buried in fines forever. I think they're both delusional enough to serve time because they really believe they did nothing wrong. Tell yourself you're right enough and you start to believe it, even when everyone else knows you're lying. Really stupid people.
ReplyDeleteThe USA, in my opinion, is only technically NOT his country. He came here as a baby and is married to a citizen. Why he hasn't been naturalized or whatever by now is kind of surprising to me.
ReplyDeleteTechnicality or not, he's not a citizen so he'll probably be deported after he is convicted and has served his sentence.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how he feels about his wife rolling over on him. Maybe he is ok with it because she will be able to take care of his kids but it means he will get more time because it probably makes a slam dunk case for prosecutors if she gives him up.
ReplyDeleteGorilla hairs got a helluva tan tho!
ReplyDeleteThe Obama administration's line is that they will deport violent felons. Perpetrators of non-violent crimes, such as multi-million dollar frauds, are deemed eligible to continue living the American dream. Not to introduce politics to the discussion but that is not the law, all convicted foreigns are to be deported, but it is the "administrative" decision of the Justice department.
ReplyDeletegive up with these people, enty. No. One. Cares.
ReplyDeleteThey're disgusting and if Andy Cohen keeps her on the show after this it will be an absolute disgrace - glorifying her criminal behaviour
ReplyDeleteAlthough I tend to wonder how else she's afford to pay off a million dollar fine without Bravo

ReplyDeleteIsn't it cure how she lied about being a realtor to defraud the banks on millions of dollars in loans? Let's see another clip if GIA!!!..ugh I am beginning to loath cohen who last night talked about the new hunger games he had to leave at the last 5 minutes to do his show - he said he was all about finnack...a guy young enough to be his kid. He makes my skin crawl. It was funny Gina Gershon was a guest and when he said he had to leave the movie, Gina said "you went to that? I turned it down to come to your show...."
ReplyDeleteI've always thought Joe would take the fall for all of this and Tree would somehow skate --the part about any kind of deal either of them make is that they have repeated these same stupid offenses over and over--so even if they were insanely lucky to get off, I think they'd screw it up somehow again.
ReplyDeleteI think from what I've read, Joe's family is pretty "connected".
In the end, for their girls sake I hope she doesn't go to jail--that would be devastating for their kids.
At this point I think Bravo would love nothing than to see Tree get off --great plotline for her on the show--and in my opinion....if they don't have her, that show is done--it would take them seasons to re-build the history she has of bringing the conflict.
