Rita Ora Rushed To Emergency Room After Collapsing

I LOVE exhaustion stories. I think they are the best. When exhaustion and dehydration leads to hospitalization I get even more excited. When the explanation for the dehydration and exhaustion is lame things are even better. yesterday while sitting in her air conditioned trailer on the set of a photo shoot in lovely 80 degree weather Rita Ora collapsed and had to be hospitalized. The official explanation is dehydration and exhaustion which is code for I have been partying non-stop for days on end and the check is not big enough for this shoot to keep me partying until I can sleep sooooo how about a day off with massive publicity to follow.

The great thing about this is Rita is apparently fine. The other great thing about these stories is the inevitable trip to rehab shortly after hospitalization. I think this trip will be classified as stress management. Apparently at a gathering of PR professionals this will be the buzz reason for going to rehab. Have you ever noticed how no one in your life has ever been hospitalized for dehydration or exhaustion despite working two jobs and raising a handful of kids everyday.

  1. I've had 3 different buddies and a sibling put in the hospital for dehydration. It happens, especially with simple things like food poisoning.

Not saying that's her issue, but I am saying maybe you need to check in for your Midol drip.

  2. We have 5 actual posts in a row. I think this is some kind of record. I guess the rest of the day will be the made-up blinds #1-#10.

  3. While she's getting the help she needs I hope her stylists are allowed to visit so they can fix her horrible hair.

  4. I've been hospitalized for dehydration. I found out the hard way that mimosas aren't a replacement for actual water.

  5. TMZ's headline yesterday was very misleading. It said something along the lines of R.I.P singer Rita Ora...but if you didn't see the "singer" part it read like she had died.

  9. Hospitalization for 'exhaustion' is definitely for celebrities only.

Dehydration happens very often to the elderly. How old is Rita Ora?

By the way, I keep hearing she's a singer, but I haven't heard any of her songs. Am I missing anything?

  18. I was in the hospital for dehydration over the summer. I was doing fine but slowly started feeling weird - agitated and spacey. It was scarey. Had nothing to do with alcohol or drugs just plain old too hot too little to drink.

  20. I got dehydrated when I was taking a lot of cold medicine. Its pretty scary. I was pretty exhausted too.
It makes me laugh when I hear they were treated for exhaustion. How the heck do you treat someone for exhaustion? Give them a message?
The problem with celebs is that theyre either working crazy tons, or sitting around twiddling their toes snorting coke to keep things interesting. If being famous is so great, why are they all drug addicts?
