  3. I hate Mac and Cheese
Anyways...Anyone watch SNL this weekend?? I am not a huge Gaga fan but the lady has talent and it actually made me laugh for once. As a Torontonian I thought the Rob Ford skit was kinda lame but the Kardashian skit was hilarious and the ending skit of Gaga as an old lady version of herself was really good and I was glad to see she has a self deprecating sense of humor. Just read that her album sales for her latest release were very weak but that new song she does with R. Kelly is pretty hot. and the performance she did with him was quit different than anything I have ever seen in a while.

  6. @Derek, I only saw the Kardashian skit (over on Dlisted) and agree, it was hilarious! I loved it when she looked straight into the camera after the costumes line. Whoever played Kanye nailed him, too.

  9. I loved the part where Kim looked so excited when Kanye called her a genius. I thought Lady Gaga was all right, but trying waay too hard. Weird, right? I remember that short she did with the dick in a box guys, no personality whatsoever. So maybe she grew one.

R Kelly looked HOTTTT!! Not like, pee on hot, but HOT

  10. @Jason, the one who played Kim? She is definitely hot - one thing I thought was her figure was way too lovely to be Kim's. They should've put her in a sofa slipcover. :b

  11. Apparently mac and cheese is a huge culinary experience, because here in Canada it means kraft dinner, and that ain't anything special... Would love yo try real gourmet American soul-food mac and cheese. I feel I'm missing out on something special.

+1 on that Kardashian sketch. Hilarious!

  12. I liked the Kardashian skit. I'm not a fan of Gaga, but I even laughed when they discussed flashy clothes. I loved when Kanye mentioned the outfit that Kim originally didn't want to wear, so he put it on her while she was sleeping.

  13. Mac is for hipsters, not even cheese improves it. IBM PC is better.

  15. Literally JUST finished a container of mac & cheese. I was feeling low after a marathon relationship discussion with my husband and that mac & cheese sure made me feel better. Fatter, but better.

  19. @plokzy - I'm Canadian too and have travelled a lot, and honestly, while mac and cheese may be different in other places, it's no better. Some people just love it, but if you're not happy with KD you can feel confident skipping it wherever you go.

    1. @cee thank you, always wondered if we as Canadians were getting cheated with our mac and cheese monopoly... Still need to try grits one day. Doesn't exist here.

  21. oh, I've been craving some homemade mac and cheese but I can't handle much dairy so I've been holding off knowing it will make my stomach hurt

Not a fan of Kraft mac n cheese--ate too much of it when I was a poor college student.

  22. Lurve homemade Mac & Cheese. Not sure how gooey melted cheese doesn't excite everyone.

Plokzy- Grits is an acquired taste definitely. I love it being from the south but my Asian roomie thought about putting soy sauce in it and swear, it's way better. Don't forget the copious amounts of butter and pepper. And there is NO SUCH THING as sweet grits. WTF!!!

That Kartrashian skit was excellent. I thought Lady Gaga was really good. She memorized all her lines and did a very good acting job. One too many eye bats towards the end when she made a joke about herself but I'll blame the director for that one.

  23. My total comfort drink right now: Decaf coffee, caramel Baileys & Kahlua w/ wipped cream and nutmeg. Three sips and you’re on your way to a nice buzz.

Mac & cheese tip: Wondra super fine flour is the best invention EVAH!!!

  24. Will Mac & Cheese make this POS iPhone better?? What kind of trash is this? I can't believe I paid money for this crap. I've already downloaded two different updates for IOS7. Is that really the best they can do? Did third graders write this code? Why does Safari crash, unless I agree to download, at my expense, some crappy mutant virus infected app that will suck the life out of my battery and secretly track my every move? Why does spell check have the vocabulary of a first grader?? Am I really so stupid that I need a game on my phone to amuse myself and that is supposed to console me? And seriously, why, since I have state of the art sound systems in my cars and dwellings, would I ever play music on my phone? That's just asking for some sociopathic imbecile to attack me while I'm not paying attention during a fall over the curb I didn't see because I'm too busy jammin'. And is it just too difficult to provide a map that works? Apple you are a greedy pig. I hope you gorge yourself on GMO apples and never defaecate again after your blood sugar rises so high you go into diabetic shock.

To conclude: iPhone you suck. IOS7 you suck even more. I hope the Devil himself is pouring even more red hot coals under Steve Jobs right now.

Thank you for this time and opportunity.

  25. I am only just getting caught up on the last couple of days of CDAN and saw this post. Great minds think alike? Not even 30 minutes ago, I posted the following on Facebook:

"November gratitude, day 18: I'm grateful that someone, at some point in human history, came up with macaroni and cheese. I love mac and cheese, and could eat it every day. Mac and cheese makes me happy. It brings me a sense of joy that I cannot adequately articulate. I am so thankful this particular food is available to me. I am equally thankful for grilled cheese with tomato. Just to be fair."
