Why would Myah say anything else? No one is ever going to get her to say anything because the second you go to work for Britney or anyone else you are signing a confidentiality agreement so tight and so filled with penalties that you will be forced to work at McDonald's for the rest of your life and most of the paycheck will go to Britney. It could be some random guy yelling and screaming on the record and have no resemblance to Britney but if you tracked the guy down he would swear it was Britney doing the vocals.
Myah gets paid a lot of money to be a backup singer for Britney and I don't think she will ever do anything to endanger that or her future prospects in the business.

ReplyDeleteNot MV- it is common knowledge that the majority of Britney's tracks have substantially been Myah for several years. B's prior drug use destroyed her voice. MV is someone NO ONE knows uses a fill in vocal.

I hate selfies. Whatever happened to non-flattering pics taken on an SLR, unable to be deleted once you picked them up after being developed? This is why I use my Minolta or Nikon, and not my fucking iPhone

ReplyDeleteThe issue with Britney wouldn't be her voice, but rather the way she comfortable with the studio, especially at the time she released her album in the middle of her breakdown. Recording an album takes dozen of hours for recording vocals and getting the right expressivity, especially when you get a chemical lobotomy from anti depression medication. So, it would make sense to use a musical "filler" who records most of the tricky stuff with a few parts still recorded by the official singer.
ReplyDeleteIn the analog days, it took weeks to edit a coherent performance from Shane McGowan for his final Pogues album. Joe Strummer had to use multiple takes, and pick each line individually, as McGowan wasn't able to sing an entire verse correctly due to his drinking. With an erratic Britney, it makes sense to replace her with a döppelganger as much as possible.
