George Zimmerman Arrested Again - Accused Of Beating Pregnant Girlfriend

Let us leave for a second the questions of why anyone would want to be George Zimmerman's girlfriend and why anyone would want a child with the man who has been arrested multiple times by police since his acquittal of murder charges earlier this year.

Yesterday George Zimmerman was arrested by police after his girlfriend said that Zimmerman cocked and pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend and shattered a glass table and barricaded himself in their house after pushing her around and then tossing her out the front door.

He told police that she had gone crazy and that she had decided to raise their baby alone and he was trying to keep things peaceful when she went crazy on him. Police say that the girlfriend is not pregnant. I don't know whether she is or not but Zimmerman seems to think she is and it is an easy thing to check out. The couple started living together a few months ago which is also crazy. The guy is a time bomb and eventually is going to get killed by police in some type of gun battle. I hope he gets convicted of some type of felony or domestic violence charge that keeps guns out of his hands because this is one person who doesn't need any help to be violent.

Two months ago Zimmerman was arrested by police because he was accused of beating his soon to be ex-wife.

  1. He'd better be careful, or some day one of his girlfriends is going to stand her ground!

  2. Bet he has a warm welcome in jail

  3. Andrew, one can only hope!

  4. If she is one of those 'lies about being pregnant' types, it will go in his favor, me.
Dude is a nutjob and absolutely should (at the very least) not be allowed around firearms. His defense attorney will step up however if she is just as batsh*t as he is.

Agree Andrew. Hopefully said gf has as good of an aim as he did.

  5. Where do you even begin with this guy?

There are so many guys out there - what would be the allure of GZ? He's unattractive, unemployed, has major anger issues (never mind previous domestic violence issues)? How is this guy still allowed to have weapons? It boggles the mind.

Also, apparently the girlfriend told the police she was not pregnant.

  6. Well said, Andrew! There's obviously something wrong with a woman who would date this man. Looking for "popularity," even if it's negative. I can't say "fame," because a girlfriend of his will never be famous. She sounds like one of those people who would marry a convicted murderer on death row, whom they have never met.

  7. Let's play the advocate of the devil for a while.

The girlfriend may have known him for years, even before he became (in)famous.
Zimmerman is presumably affected by his depiction in the media and the millions of people who hate his guts.

But mostly, you should put the blame first on the Florida legislation that allowed such a crime to happen and Zimmerman to walk free out of jail with the Stand-your-ground law and similar dispositions their Congress has implemented, backed by numerous lobbies. Under this law, a guy with multiple issues such as Zimmerman is allowed to kill another man. Legally, he is innocent, and that's the real issue. It was not just the decision of the jury. Why do people focus their energy against him, while the real problem is an unfair and dangerous law nobody seems willing to change?

    1. Tell me that again when some banger breaks in and you're hiding in the closet praying the police will get there before said banger kills you.

  8. Why is anyone surprised Zimmerman could get a woman? There are so many women who date and marry guys like this. All the serial killers got married on death row, so there is no shock here. There are some women and men, for whatever reason, can't get enough of criminals.

  9. Oooh, can't wait for what's-her-face "I'm a paralegal!!!1111" to come in and defend this guy. Again.

One thing that does suck for his defenders - since being acquitted, this guy has done nothing but call that verdict into doubt. Three years tops, this guy will be dead or serving a life term.

  11. Such a scumbag. Karma is catching up with him I see.

  12. I'm not surprised there are women willing to date him. There's someone (or two or three or a thousand) for everyone. I just hope that at some point he'll reflect a bit on his experience and learn from it. A vain hope I suppose, but still ...

  13. First, unless it is an antique, you don't cock a shotgun, as they don't have hammers.

Second, last i heard she denies being pregnant.

Third, he didn't beat her, he pushed he out of his house.

Fourth, he broke his own glass table.

I don't see any crime here. Just the continued persecution of a man the courts found innocent, which many refuse to accept.

    1. Count, why are you defending this guy when this is the third person alleging physical abuse. This isnt even counting the martin crime alleged crime I mean.

  14. Sigh. For the last time, courts do not "find people innocent." Juries acquit when prosecutors cannot meet their - very high - burden of proof.

  15. (Also, I should add, pointing a shotgun at somebody is in fact a crime. And a tort).

  16. If her name isn't on the lease and he asked her to leave, then it is trespassing, and pointing a shotgun at her is likely justified in Florida.

  17. Is this the same girlfriend he had prior to the trial. The one he had while while he and his wife made the appearance of being together to help his image.

  18. Count - from all the reports yesterday, it was her house. It was also her coffee table that he broke. Just check the Orlando Sentinel for all the info.

He pushed her out of her house while she was on the phone with 911; she had a house key with her. When the police arrived the kept knocking on the door trying to speak with him. Instead, he barricaded himself inside, pushing furniture up to the front door (you can read this in the police report). Instead of you know, actually talking to the cops, he called 911, after putting his gun away, to explain his "side of the story." Um, that's what he should have been telling the cops who were actually there - instead, he used the 911 emergency number to talk.

  19. He will get off again, no doubt. If there aren't witnesses, it will be he said/she said. I am afraid this pattern does not bode well for his character. I know nobody (even gun owners) who have been accused of so many things. When there's smoke, there's fire. He just knows the law well enough to get around it.

I agree... that stand your ground to needs to be altered.

  20. Forgot to add - when he wouldn't open the door, the police used the girlfriend's house key. They had to force the door open because of the furniture he had placed in front of it.

Yeah, just what a rational-thinking person would do.

  21. @Surfer: If that is the case, then ignor my posts except for the cocking the shotgun and pregnancy parts.

  22. So the girlfriend is not the same person as his wife? Doesn't he have a wife?

I need to add him to my celeb death pool. He's like the Bizarroland version of Rodney King.

  23. hey Count - you're not actually going with the "he was found innocent so he didn't kill that poor kid" angle, are you? Seriously?

So how do you feel about OJ......the poor, misunderstood guy.

    ReplyDelete
  24. @mena the wife divorced him pretty quickly after she called the cops on him in September. People down here after hearing the 911 tape from yesterday think this whole incident was b.s. from the new girl and she set him up. Nobody thinks shes preggers either.

    ReplyDelete
  25. @ms snarky: Nah, I really think they were both stupid and the world would have been better off if they both died that night.

There was no self defense angle with OJ. He went there to kill those 2 people.

  26. @sandybrook, reading the transcripts, she does sound batshit and possibly setting him up, but drama attracts drama. He should be single and get a plant.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Mark my words, this guy is going to kill again before all is said and done.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Haha Zimmerman got OJ'd.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Zimmerman pulled a Zimmerman. Where are his NRA fans now? I see there is still one nut defending him as if he's the persecuted Jaysus. It's hard to say the woman is faking, when this dirtbag has barricaded himself into her apt. And the call he made to 911 is the tactic he's used in every single arrest, when it's a domestic. He's been doing this since his first wife.

  30. This guy is crazy! Just like serial killers, but a little less dangerous. Agree with Angela. The law is fine. With kids "playing" knockout games people minding their own business not harming anyone need all the help they can get. 90yo man robbed outside church. That law wasn't all that kept Zimmerman on the street, just like Casey Anthony. Both will be in jail or in the ground soon enough.

  31. It's time for Zimmerman's complete history to be revisited, and hopefully it will be allowed in court this time. He has been abusing women since he was a teenager, and every time he gets caught he is able to turn it around and blame his victims. EVERY TIME. He unlawfully stalked and picked a fight with Trayvon, then pulled a gun when Trayvon got the advantage and got away with murder. He is mere seconds away from murdering again because he loves to pull out his gun whenever he is feeling less than a man. He needs to be locked up in a psych ward until someone can explain what the hell he is compensating for. I hope his parents at least have the decency to be ashamed of him.

  32. I read in the comments section on Buzzfeed yesterday that he was sexually abusing his 10 year old niece. This was a comment though not exactly a reliable source of info, but interesting all the same. The poster was ranting that it's time everyone knew the real George that his neighbors know and heard about all the shit he is trying to keep quiet

  33. Just like OJ, this guy will be in jail for a long time because of something unrelated to the original crime he committed.

A lot of people called this from the beginning when he was being pulled over for what seemed like minor speeding violations ... now, he's just playing with the police.

    ReplyDelete
  34. It's not that Zimmerman is innocent, it's that Florida made it legal to kill.

The Stand Your Ground law makes it okay to harass someone, bother them, attack them -- and when they retaliate, you can say "I was scared!" and legally kill them.
