In a statement written by her mother who Courtney Stodden likes to call her people she says that the reason she is getting divorced is that she married young. No! Shocker. The fact she married someone literally old enough to be her great-grandfather presuming of course repeated 16 year old pregnancies which is not out of the question in this family and you see what the problem might be. Oh, if you throw in the fact that the 50 something has some fetishes that most 16 year old kids are unprepared to handle and you have a recipe for disaster.
What makes the statement more funny considering it was written by Courtney's mother is that Courtney's mother is the one who signed off on Courtney getting married. Did she think it was going to last? Heck no. She knew it would last long enough to give her daughter fame and money and that in a few years when Courtney was ready for her life's calling as a hooker or porn star Courtney would be ready.
