This former B list mostly television actress from a hit show who has thrown away her entire career because of drugs, used to be in some movies and wanted to get an Academy Award for a performance. This was a couple of years ago and while at Cannes, slept with every reviewer she could find just so they would all say great things about her in their reviews. They did, but, she blew it all when she started down the drug path. This will be revealed.

ReplyDeleteThe movie was Closing the Ring and it was a very good WW 2 love story. She played a younger version of Shirley McClains character. She was excellent in it and I beg to differ to anyone that she does not talent if they have seen the film. I think she just gets a bad rep as an actress cause she only gets shit roles playing one dimensional characters that are hard to get into.

ReplyDeleteTHE ADS ON THIS SITE ARE HORRIBLE!!!! I can't even listen to my music because this shit beer commerical is playing at a volume twice as loud as my music!! The formatting of this site is among the worst I've ever seen. I'm sure there's enough traffic to make money on ads but this is the shittiest site EVER in terms of format. Is this a geocities homepage from 1995?

ReplyDeleteSorry for the rant, everyone, but even the crappiest websites don't run audio on ads without a pause or mute button. And these repeat over and over again. I'm listening to music on my computer and the volume of the ads is easily twice that of my music. Can't turn the music up without the ads getting louder too. The formatting/ads on this site are embarrassingly bad, but I love the gossip! I've given out the site to friends because I'm always repeating juicy stuff I read here, but they never visit CDAN more than once because of the shitty formatting. There are certain browsers that I can't even open CDAN in. I don't understand why Enty doesn't put any thought/effort into that part of the site. It would definitely make this blog more popular.

ReplyDeleteAnother tip to switch every page of the site from the original version to the mobile one:
ReplyDelete1. look at the URL adress
2. you add ?m=1 after the .html so it becomes ".html?m=1"
3. reload the page, straight to the nice, clean mobile version
ps. if there other characters after the html bit, just delete them before adding ?=m1
ps2. vintage princess, being pissed and outraged at this website is the new black these days among commenters, dare to be different ;-)
the ?m=1 is pretty useful when you post a comment from the mobile version and end up on the original layout, avoids to start all the way back from the mobile homepage

ReplyDeletebabo: Thanks for that. What I find odd is how my Google Chrome won't let me view it normal PERIOD. I can click into the individual stories and it loads all the comments and then I have to scroll to the end to post a comment which opens the comment box. It's this damn Windows 8. It even does it when I tried your method.

Thanks Babo, I'm gonna try not to go crazy. It's my horrible temper--the thing I hate the most about myself. Intense rage and then embarrassment and regret :( A short road from anger to self-loathing, like a snap of the fingers.

When I use this on Pc I only use firefox with ad blocker no videos no ads.
