Blind Item #3

This B+ list mostly movie actress who used to be A list back in the day and still has A list name recognition from some of the greatest movies ever got so hammered on a recent flight that flight attendants thought she might have died. They tried to rouse her several times over the course of the flight but it took almost two hours before she was able to open her eyes. An hour later when the plane landed the actress had to be helped off the plane but refused a wheelchair and stumbled along to baggage claim.

  5. I wouldn't call any of those ladies B+ list now. Most of them are just faint memories. I don't think I would recognize Karen Allen if she sat next to me on a bus.

  10. "Back in the day" has me thinking early '90s and before. Given the perimeters, all I can think of is Diane Keaton (Annie Hall and the Godfather films are among the best). I hope I'm wrong.

  11. Goldie Hawn is in the Daily Mail at LAX

  12. If you want to go really far back in the day - Debbie Reynolds. I'm trying to think of what are the best movies of all time, and I can't really fit Melanie Griffith or Goldie Hawn in there - some good ones, but greatest of all-time? Sigourney Weaver and Diane Keaton work.

  13. Faye Dunaway was also pretty big back in the day, but I don't think she's B+ now.

  15. Sigourney Weaver is in the DM, too.

  16. This reads that her A-list name recognition is from a franchise.

I like the Carrie Fisher guess, but I don't know if she's fallen off the wagon or not. I hope not.

    I don't see Sigourney being a lush.

  17. It's sigourney. She admitted to George clooney that she drank so much she passed out on plane. Here's the article. It's about half way down.

  18. Sigourney Weaver was the 2nd female lead in "Avatar" the highest grossing film of all time. So her glory days continue to the present. I read years ago that because she was in the Alien and Ghostbuster franchises she at one point had the highest career total gross ticket sales of any actor in history. I'll bet Avatar put her back near the top of that list.
