Blind Item #2

This B list reality star who got his fame on an A list network reality show has been having trouble paying his monthly fee to a group of men who require a payment from the star every month. It is a common practice where he is from but it is usually athletes who are forced to pay. His income has declined though and now the men are threatening to hurt his A list celebrity girlfriend.

    1. And Maks is not getting the moolah than he is used to since he is no longer a regular "pro" on DWTS

  5. So is the group of men the Russian mob or putin - oh, wait- they are one and the same.

  6. What group of men require payment? I know you have to tithe as a Mormon or Scientologist but they're not just men.

    I'm thinking Jon Gosslin

    1. Hothotheat - the Russian mob collects from a number of Russian hockey players(and apparently dancers) - a protection racket.

    2. Whoa, did not know that. I guess it makes sense but they don't do this to Russian women?

    3. Russian women are just as controlled. Every model, athlete, etcetera, not only pays their monthly due, but also is to make themselves available for "dates" at the bosses' whim.

  10. This is why he keeps 30-40k on him at all times, in case he has to run. Kate may be a lil too high profile for them to kidnap and pimp to collect their funds. If I ever see her advertised on BackPage in Brooklyn, I'll post a review here.

    1. Ouch talkstoomuch- love hypocrites that come on snarky gossip sites where we read and say awful things about people we really don't know and then preach political correctness. You really got me on the name slam:(

  12. That ain't no stereotype. From what I've read there are 2 types of Russian athletes, ones who get shaken down by the Mafiya and the ones who work as muscle for them.

Red Mafiya, good book on Russian mob in Brooklyn from 80s and 90s. Kinda scary though when you see pics and recognize people you dealt with professionally. "I argued with that guy over $30 bucks, he probably killed people for less."

  13. You know, I appreciate the extrapolation, but I really think you are doing a disservice to ACTUAL preachers, what with my three words.

  15. I lived in Brighton Beach Brooklyn you have no idea how much the Russians feared guys with tattoos (in Russia signal for guy spent time in prison). It is either mob or KGB to them.

    1. @sandy: vors I think they are called. I one time read a guy saying that Aleksander Emelianenko (mma fighter) had those tattoos because he liked the style. I shut the guy up by explaining those people don't accept posers like Americans do. Get some Russian prison tats to try and look tough and one day you will be held in the basement of a nightclub having them removed with a blowtorch.

When were you last in Brighton? Place has changed a lot since the Patriot Act stemmed the flow of immigrants. It is a shell of what it used to be. Not to mention the switch from paper food stamps to the credit cards. Getting fucked by insurance companies after last year's hurricane shuttered some businesses too. It is sad when thinking of what it was like years ago.

    2. P.S. I used to like seeing all the guys get together for the Russian version of Veteran's Day. All these groups of old guys w/ all their medals pinned to suit jackets.

He's awful - I read some tabloid article a while back about how he told Upton she needed to lose weight ... whether or not that was true, I also saw him on an episode of 'Million Dollar Listing LA' (he was looking at buying a townhouse on the beach through Madison) and he was NOT nice.
