Blind Item #1

This married late night television actor on a long running hit show who has had some issues recently didn't let a thing like marriage or bad press stand in the way of him hitting on every woman he saw the other night and making out with several while they gave him R rated lap dances in the VIP section of a club. I'm sure he told his wife it was just research.

  1. I bet David CaruSO Spooky could suss this out...why is Halloween just ONE day? Why?

  2. Taran Killam/Cobie Smulders

(If you read it as the show has issues, not the actor)

  3. NOT Taran.

    It's Kenan Thompson.

  4. I have no idea who either of these people are, but I was thinking SNL when I saw "late night actor", and I see that he is on SNL. But really, is SNL a hit show anymore? It's sucked for years.

  5. I DO know who Kenan Thompson is though...Ducks rule!

  6. I loved David CaruSO Spooky! I read every one in his voice from CSI.

@Kristin, I read it as the person (who has issues) rather than the show (that has issues) but in CDaN Land, who knows. If the latter, it's SNL for sure with the "we can't find funny black women" issue.

  7. This is written as a person has some issues. But with an Enty writing it, you just can't know for sure...

  10. SNL was hilarious this weekend. Some weeks are good, some are bad. Its like that with every show. Not all skits are gonna be amazing.

  12. I'm thinking of "late night" as the 9/10pm slot so I'll go with Thomas Gibson (the guy that catfished by a hooker in Minnesota).

  13. SNL has been flat out horrible for years and years. Re Runs of Howard Stern's Channel 9 Show could beat it in the ratings and in laughs.

    1. I do wish they still showed the Howard Stern show on E! I really enjoyed that.

  14. Sorry, I watched SNL during the golden years, I think the last time I thought it was funny was when Dana Carvey was still on. To me, it's an old dinosaur.

  15. OMG a married guy in a strip club (like 90% of their consumers)

  16. @Sugar: I consider the E show Howard's jump the shark moment. That was when the show went from a comedy show to an entertainment show.

The next big drop off was when Jackie left, because they stopped doing bits. No more produced pieces satirizing movies and current events.

Artie leaving was the final nail in the coffin. I tried to listen a 1/2 dozen times since and I can't sit through a show. AI, Dancing with the Stars, Beff Oats and her shitty NSAL charity that has horrible ratings, Shuli, and on and on. Only difference between Howard and Imus is that Howard wears that terrible wig instead of a cowboy hat.

  17. Complaining about how SNL isn't good anymore has been a thing since the 1980s. Watch an old episode sometime and you'll see they weren't all gems.

  18. SNL was quite good this past weekend. Mad props to Kerry. Girl Killed it.

  19. Its the show that has the issues, if you read it in typical Enty no comma fashion. So, SNL and Taran/Smuders
