Blind Item #10

Put this one under bizarre. This actress who used to be a B list mostly movie actress and is now mostly television when she can get work is a mom. Apparently she went to an indoor playground and before she left with her child from the playground she scooped up five or six pairs of shoes of the other kids and then walked out. Two hours later she returned them saying she was not sure which pair belonged to her child. Bizarre.

    1. I buy that. I've heard gossip, (old, old gossip), that she's always been slightly unraveled, kids make that worse, in my experience. Always was disappointed that her career didn't blossom further, I liked her during the "Cruel Intentions/Legally Blonde" days, a lot.

  2. Well, at least she didn't scoop up five or six kids and later return them saying she wasn't sure which one belonged to her. You know, what with everyone in LA apparently handing their kids off to random strangers.

  4. If this is Selma she is suffering some major Post Partum Depression.

  5. Yhe child would have to be pretty young. Most kids recognize their own shoes.

  8. How is this post partum ? Could be almost any mental illness.

  9. It doesn't seem that strange to me, especially if the child has a nanny who dresses it most of the time. I wouldn't think that little kids shoes would be that easily identifiable.

  10. That's not the point. You don't walk out with five pairs of shoes that don't belong to you.

  11. Maybe she is just plain rude and inconsiderate without any boundaries for the belongings of others. Most little kids don't spend more than a couple hours at a bounce house,a nd so those other kids probably had to leave without their shoes. I know if this happened to my child, it would be very upsetting. They have one pair usually they wear daily. Sandals in summer. Then, not ony would my day's plans get derailed by needing to replace shoes unexpectedly with a barefoot, upset child, but, I would be doing so because of some Hollywood clepto who has no regard for others. This is bs, and my sympay is to the parents who had to deal its the mess made by the subject of this blind, who isn't taking care of their issues.

  12. I agree with you S except for the one pair of shoes part. My 4 year old has 12+ but I can easily identify all of them

  13. Few 4 year olds need 12+ pairs of shoes. That's fashionista mom treating the kid like a dress-up doll.

I don't know who this is but if it's Selma, it's no surprise. She nearly ran over me once in Malibu Country Mart parking lot. I was going to my car & she hopped into her beemer convertible, stuck her nose in the air, started up & sped straight back in reverse. There were other peds in the lot, including kids. SB was not about to look behind her or move cautiously. Ever since then, I can't stand her.
Swiping everybody's shoes is stupid & rude but doesn't sound like PP depression. Her kid is almost 2 and a half.
