Back in March, Ashley Greene came home after a long night of partying with Ryan Phillippe and didn't blow out the candles she lit. The resulting blaze caused tons of damage and also killed Ashley's dog. Four residents and the doorman to the building are suing Ashley because of the damage and the construction and in the lawsuit claim that having Brooke Mueller would have been a better neighbor. According to the
NY Post, Ashley had men coming and going at all hours of the day and night. Huh. Sounds like the same thing neighbors would say if there was a brothel being run out of an apartment. I'm not saying there was but that is one of the first things that trip up brothels is the high amount of traffic all day and night. Neighbors said it was like Studio 54 in her apartment. OK, well right there they have aged themselves and now it seems like Ashley wasn't running a brothel but was probably watching television too loud and did so after 9pm or something like that and ticked them all off.
One thing everyone can agree is that Ashley never apologized to her neighbors for the fire or the resulting tumult in their lives.
Poor dog :(

ReplyDeleteAshley made a mistake with the candles, but it was a tragic accident, not intentional. And I don't know how you go about apologizing for something like this to neighbors who already hate you.
@ Karen right, do you leave a note in elevator apologizing, so everyone sees it? That's a huge building do you go door to door? And from the looks of the photo not many were affected by the actual fire, so do you apologize for the 'inconvenience' of the fire trucks etc?

ReplyDeleteOkay. Would they sue a business across the street or next door for the same thing? Seems to me (based solely on the linked article) like they're suing her because they hate her. I don't have any love for Ashley, but the lawsuit seems ridiculous.
@Hollywood Dime when there is a fire in a building there is smoke damage to the other units. The smell gets into all the clothes, carpets and curtains. You have to have everything cleaned and even then it takes forever for it to go away.

And excuse me, but if you live somewhere aren't you allowed to come and go as you please? Is there a reason she can only go during hours that are convenient for everyone else? If she was really a nuisance I'm sure she would have been evicted.
