First album recieved was STYX with the song Renegade (I was 3 and loved that song). First tape was Cinderella (the band). First CD was Eurythmics greatest hits.
First single had was cut out from the back of a Honeycombs cereal box of the Archies Honey oh honey doo doo doo doo doo.doo, you are my candy.girl. and you got me wanting you Probably Linda Ronstadt first record I bought for myself.
First album I ever received: IIRC, the Disney tie-in album for their first Winnie the Pooh flick. Sebastian Cabot, Sterling Holloway...oh man, that thing was so funny when I was ripped on acid in college.
First CDs: Guns N Roses - Use Your Illusion I & II (I camped out to be one of the first ones to buy those damn CDs. Wouldn't do that for anything now.)
1st vinyl record: Depeche Mode Strangelove single 1st cassette: Violent Femmes self titled album 1st cd: Ministry - The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste
I dont remember, it was 60"s, so much great music out. I know first album we bought as a married couple was ,"Moondance", by Van the Man. Still love it. Loads of good memories.
Jagged Little Pill. It was my sisters, but I listened to it as often. I remember not knowing how the hell to work the cd player, so I automatically hated cds.
One of the Toto albums that one all the Grammys from 1982, but I brought Asia's Alpha at the same time. I redeemed myself a few years later by buying Purple Rain. My mother would never let me buy Prince albums before he went pop, so I brought all his stuff when I was 18.
Will never forget it. We were the first people we knew to get a CD player. We each got to pick 1 cd. I got Madonna true blue, sister got Europe the final countdown, and dad got sergeant peppers
First cassette: Who´s that girl by Madonna First vinyl record: You can Dance by Madonna (I was such a HUGE fan) First CD: The Addams Family score by Marc Shaiman (incredibly difficult to find but SO worthy)
