Today's Blind Items - Out Of Control

Because of his connections and willingness to do anything for money this former A list actor has probably got away with more crime than any other actor from Hollywood ever. Three or four years ago there was a reporter who was going to write a lengthy article/expose about the actor and some of his illegal exploits and ended up almost getting killed a week into his investigation. Three days later he was threatened again and finally gave up the project. It isn't like this actor is all that great but he has a reputation overseas for being great. Sex and drug trafficking are just the tip of the iceberg for this actor. The latest thing that is truly scary is that he has been flown in for some "raids" on camps and has killed people. They are not battles but more like slaughters and he jumped at the chance to participate.

I have to say that this fits in with the actor and his past. It also is something I know he has said he wanted to do at some point in his life. Three separate readers from Jordan have all heard the same basic story and have seen him in Amman several times over the past three months when these killings were supposed to have happened. Two of these sources have never been wrong about anything before and the third has also never been wrong but has a very limited track record. The guy is scary and it wouldn't shock me if he ends up dying in a very violent manner.

    3. I always liked him but this is horrifying. To kill another human being, to kill an animal, to kill anything that isn't directly threatening you is the act of a coward.

  4. Get it, Laura! I was going with Gary Sinise but Segal makes much more sense.

  5. Sometimes it amazes me what people wander the globe doing with apparent impunity. And then I feel stupid. But mostly scared. WTF, world?

    ReplyDelete
  6. No no no not Van Damme, I suspect JCvD is just a pretty boy performer and Gary Sinise is too much of a documented good person and career actor.

This has Steven Seagal written all over it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. or however you spell it

  8. Definitely Steven Segal

  9. Sorry, got to disagree with the Segal guess.
    Have you *seen* him lately?
If this were from 20+ years ago, I'd have been on board...but now?
Allow me to put it this way:
If you were going on a black ops mission, would *you* take an "Apocalypse Now" Marlon Brando along ?

  13. Van Damme isn't a pretty boy he was a kick boxer and famed martial artist before he acted. Hes also a Dick like Seagal.

I have a friend who was a world ranking martial arts expert. Even though he was from a poor country, he was paid to represent at tournaments all over the world. Van Damme is a joke world wide in that community cos he and his face growth only know enough moves to look good when choreographed on film.

  14. There have also been some Kindness reveals about Sinise and his work with vets, so def not him.
Had to ring in and remind everyone how amazing Sinise is. My mission in life.

  15. Sinise, really? Come on.

Totally Van Damme or Seagal. Great guesses.

  16. Everyone's getting butthurt over the Sinise guess. Fine. I'll change my guess to Michael J Fox. Dude has black ops written all over him.

Van Damme's about as a legit "famed martial artist" as Chuck Norris, or if you're well-versed in martial arts, as Kimbo Slice.

  28. Van Damme was a dancer before hitting it big, not a "famed martial artist". Not him.

For pure crazy, I'd throw out Tom Sizemore's name into the ring.

  29. Bacon, I say go for Superman Brando. We could all use a little Jor-El for secret squirrel missions.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Seagal is a fat potato ,now he barely can't move: see his tv show

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh Kristin, okay okay I'm so sorry to take Sinise seriously, you really saved it with the Michael J. Fox upgrade. ;)

Brando Jor-El is the best, along with Hackman Lex Luthor, and Christopher Reeve Superman. It all works.

When I had glandular fever recently my hubby said I looked like Brando (my throat looked like it was giving birth to 2 oranges) and I asked if he meant Brando from The Wild One or from the Island of Dr Moreau. He said the latter. Boo!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I think Dr. Moreau Brando might be the winner....to quote Jesse Spano, "I'm so scared!"

    ReplyDelete
  37. According to you, Seagal has a reputation overseas for "being great"? Europe is overseas and he has a reputation for a terrible fat pseudo actor.
Some thing I don't understand in this BI. Says he has been in raids killing people: was it as a soldier/merc wiping out qaida maggots or poor people as in "Hard Target"?

Van Damne has a 18-1 record in full contact, according to wikipedia.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Hello mister ASCI penis buzzkill.

Never saw the Island of Dr, V. any good?

  39. Bacon, I've only seen it once, while sick with the flu. It literally gave me bad nightmares/hallucinations (combo of dehydration, fever and Brando). I haven't been able to watch it again since. An epically bad, yet at the same time, very creepy film.

  50. Segal. Abu Dhabi royals bought into the UFC. Segal has coached up some of their fave fighters in Spider Silva and Lyoto Machida. Between MMA connections and arms suppliers, could totally see Segal hoovering a couple rails and storming a village of democracy dreamers with some crowned princes and CEOs.

Who ever it was, remember, if everyone in the village gonna die, then murder wasn't the worst thing that went down, especially if there were chicks around.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I think that the most frightening thing about this blind is that Steven Segal was ever considered A list.

    ReplyDelete
  52. What about Vinnie Jones?

Known to be violent, arrested multiple times. Was recently caught with his tongue all over a Russian fame-ho. His wife wasn't happy.

In his past he was known for soccer, did a lot of dirty tricks to win.
His image in England was good for a while (when he started doing movies) but dropped again when he showed his sociopath-mannered self in the Big Brother house and again when he was found cheating on his wife.

    ReplyDelete
  53. And he was caught on camera beating the crap out of guy who 'provoked' him.

His image kinda goes up and down, but he is pretty popular.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Orrrr Jackie Chan.
He seems like a nice dude, but doesn't he have a ton of kids he doesn't admit too, some living in poverty because of this? I remember reading it somewhere. he looks all smiley and sweet but is a major douche. And he is A list in the action-genre.

    ReplyDelete
  55. 100% Steven Seagal.

Almost killed is Anita Busch of the LA Times. His PI went to prison for it.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Did a movie with JCVD, this is definitely not him- although, I will say he's an...ummm...interesting character.

  57. The Count is right. It was worse than described in the blind.

  58. I hate that I missed all the horror movie talk. LOVE that genre. Brought up on it. My aunt took me to see Hellraiser and let me just say...I was too young but so glad she took me. It started a grand love affair.

not into the new torture porn movies like saw. I like my gore with a little more style. The Opera, Suspiria, etc.

Just watched The Pact, Conspiracy, and the innkeepers and really enjoyed them. Felt like the good old days of the genre

Some have called me naive so...

  60. "Raids" on camps sound like the human equivalent of canned hunts. Why couldn't such a thing be easily hidden in a place like Jordan? Where there is smoke, there is fire. Money talks. I don't see how anyone thinks it *couldn't* be a second-rate actor - one who is protected and feted by rich friends in probably poor countries. After I read the Dutroux Compendium and related stories (spellbinding, tragic, terrifying), I thought if only 10% of the story was true - the least horrific 10% - that was still pretty fucking horrific and depraved. If this particular item is not true, I still would not be surprised to learn that it has taken place. Multiple times. Perpetrated by people we have heard of.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I have a hard time picturing Seagal chasing after people once he runs out of ammo. The guy has six chins.

@Orvilla, I am so happy that the torture porn fad seems to be losing popularity. Creepy, supernatural horror movies are my favorite.

    ReplyDelete
  62. "Iceberg"

    Hmmm. . .

    ReplyDelete
  63. Segal is a nutcase.
True story from someone who worked with him on one of his last big features. The someone asked Segal on a Monday, "How was your weekend?" Segal went into a tale of a "special ops with the CIA" he'd participated in, where he was dropped into some country for an "extraction." "In and out, nobody got hurt." The someone wanted to laugh, because the story was so outrageous. Holy shit, does this mean it was true? Or that now that he cant' get acting jobs anymore, he's paying to do all the things he dreamed about, like a fat, mysoginistic Walter Mitty?
ALSO...the someone related that the Studio (WB) was constantly writing $50,000 checks to women as sexual harassment payouts for Segal. It was practically a line item in the budget and according to those in Segal's entourage, was standard on his movies. Studio would pay to shut women up he'd attempted to rape.
