Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Are Your Golden Globe Hosts For The Next Two Years

The rumor that had been very loud and incredibly close (see what I did there?) is now a reality with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announcing that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will be the hosts of the Golden Globes for the next two years. Yes, that means if they suck it doesn't matter because they are guaranteed a spot next year. Well, technically they could be bought out but it would be very expensive. Also as part of the deal, Tina;s daughter Alice gets to be Miss Golden Globes as much as she wants and Amy Poehler gets to have Johnny Depp act as her naked production assistant. OK, so the last two probably are not part of the deal but the rest is. This will be interesting because the duo are very funny but will all the "movie stars," like it? Movie stars are who the HFPA members hope to sleep with every year so their votes are important. I think the HFPA was looking for something safe and NBC was looking for a person or people who are on their network already and can promote the heck out of without reservation.
