Random Photos Part One

Five parts today.

Richard Gere is in some movie where he plays Captain Gorton and finds fish to sticks to feed
to young pregnant women played by Dakota Fanning and shamed by Pauly D.
See that smile on Robert Pattinson? That is a I don't have to be involved in that KStew mess any longer kind of smile.
Sandra Bullock takes her son to school. Gives him $250 for lunch and tells him to make it rain.
Salma Hayek is showing off some cleavage for her new movie also starring
Pierce Brosnan.
Also filming a movie but doing it in China is Scarlett J.
Solange Knowles presumably doing something for ebay or just likes their logo.
I have watched the first three episodes of Stephen Merchant's new show and it's really hard to watch in a British Office/Extras kind of way.

  1. I just started watching the Steven Merchant show, the commercials for the show are rather confusing so I was giving it a miss but I finally gave it a shot and I think it is hilarious. It's like Californication and Curb Your Enthusiasm wrapped up loosely together.

  2. but with that British fish out of water in LA twist, which is what I also like about Episodes

    1. Watching this new show makes me miss "Extras." Like, really, really miss it. Merchant and Williamson were perfect together.

  4. You nuts, Enty (I think.) Stephen Merchan't show is terrific. I'm also a Jenny Slate fan and love that she's on it. Jenny better appear in the photos soon.

  5. LOL @ skimpy!

Salma H is absolutely gorgeous though her knees look a little funny there. Though I think all knees look a little funny...

    Yay for stripper Stephen Merchant!

    1. She is PATHETIC. What is so sad is that I saw one of her music vids and she is good. She has talent. It was an excellent and interesting and intelligent, listenable visual and musical offering. Why Basement Baby, why u dress like that? Why u flatten out your hair like that? You are beautiful and talented. Stop. It!

  9. Merchant was talking about meeting GMD on HIGNFY, I'd have loved to have seen Cruise fussing over his highest lifts to make up the foot height difference.

  10. Extras was hard to watch? Hard to watch? No wonder none of your 'jokes' are funny sad Enty.

    ...Hard to watch?!

    1. Seriously, Harry Potter flinging condoms at Emma Peel is hard to watch? David Bowie ad-libbing insulting tunes at a piano bar is hard to watch? Maybe for the tweener Enty that knows nothing of Hollywood and the entertainment industry pre-2005.

  11. I think Enty means the main character demonstrates some major cringe-worthy behavior. I also love Hello Ladies, and if you haven't seen it try to find Life's Too Short on demand. Steven Merchant (and Ricky Gervais) make cameos

    1. "Life's Too Short" is one of the best things I've seen on HBO. So incredibly un-PC, but hilarious. Rosamund Hanson is fantastic as well. If you haven't seen "This is England," watch it immediately, especially if you're a fan of "Boardwalk Empire."

  12. I thought Richard Gere was Sean Connery. Ha!

I also watched an episode of Hello Ladies. It was funny but painful to watch his awkwardness with women.

I don't understand the appeal with Robert Pattinson ... he has really mean eyes.

Why doesn't little Louis ever smile?

Pierce is not aging well - what happened?!

Scarlett is gorgeous. You could even dress her up in that hideous thing Solange is trying to pass off as an outfit, and she'd still look incredible.

  15. I thought Richard Gere was Donald Sutherland! WTF does that mean about Louis??

    Thank you for the Pierce

Oh that secretary on Life's Too Short is hilarious! I just googled her name and can't believe how cute she is IRL (especially with the pixie cut). Thanks for the other recommendation

Meh. My kiddo doesn't smile for the camera ever, either. He is soooo smiley all day long, but once I get the camera out there is nothing I can do to make him smile. It's almost creepy how he'll just stare at the camera! Kids are funny, they do what they want.

    No one's mentioned Derek yet?
    OMG
Both my husband I cried (and laughed) watching it
    Truly amazing
I'm a diehard UK Office, Extras, Idiot Abroad, Life's too Short and Derek fan. And all the Gervais/Merchant podcasts and movies. Even have all the Xmas Specials (big nerd)

  20. Richard Gere looks so Grandpa with that beard. Does anyone remember when he was so hot you couldn't breathe looking at him? I sure do. That man made me immolate myself. Nothing like it before or since.

  21. Love the new Merchant offerings.

Basement Baby continues her lonely trek to relevance. If only she had some connections in the industry.
