For the celebrities not nominated for one of the fake Hollywood Film Awards they hung out at the Elle party which seemed to have a bigger wow factor than the Film Awards.

Ok I'll do the fat shaming for everyone. Busy Phillips looks like a portly Pink at best. One look at Melissa McCarthy tells you why Elle went with the coat photo for their cover...and they must've also photoshopped it to death.

I think the magazine was an issue focused on the "hot new coats of the season". Hence the coat. The could've put her in something flattering, probably would've airbrushed it, and the results would be the same.

ReplyDeleteAny good gossip about Lake? I know she works alot in the alternative comedy scene, but I can't stand her, especially since it sounds like she came from a pretty privileged background, and I have an automatic class bias.

DeleteI know about her film. Beyond the celebrity tweets gushing about it, it's mostly received middling reviews. And I don't think she's a bimbo actress, whatever that means. But I just get the feeling that she's riding on the coat tails of others who are actually funny.
