Color Me Badd Makes The News

Do you realize it was twenty six years ago that Color Me Badd got together and first started thinking about how to terrorize the world with songs like I Wanna Sex You Up? Well, Bryan Abrams from the group has a warrant out for his arrest in Oklahoma which is where he lives now. Back in April, Bryan was charged with his twelfth domestic violence incident and given probation. He had certain things he needed to do as part of that probation and hasn't done any of them. His wife at the time is currently divorcing him.

How can you be busted for domestic violence 12 times in less than a decade and only receive counseling? Since he is blowing that off I guess he doesn't think anything will happen to him except a few hours of inconvenience when he gets booked. Apparently Oklahoma doesn't take domestic violence that seriously.

  1. This was the Vanilla Ice one, right? Whatever happened to the other ones? You know, the Kenny G one, the George Michael one and the Terence Trent D'Arby one?

  7. HA! I remember when these tools played an assembly at my high school in '88. (They were still known as the Levi 501 commercial guys then.) They spent the entire time on campus trying to pick up 10th graders. lol

  14. ugh, these guys used to live in the town next to me in LI. They were in Glen Cove. They would drive around in a station wagon trying to pick up teenage girls when they had a few hit songs out. It was embarassing watching them pander for attention.

    They were all gross.

They always remind me of the movie New Jack City.

  25. Ahh, Color me Badd were on one of my favorite Beverly Hills 90210 episodes ever where Donna's mom gets caught cheating at the hotel where CMD is staying. Oh to go back to the early 90's.

  26. Ok. Ok. I have to admit I LOVED THESE GUYS !!!!! No one can obsess like a teenage girl and I was like 13 when they first hit the the charts. I bought all of the albums (inc the remixes :) and had their Tiger Beat posters on my binder in my locker. Ahhh...and Bryan was my favorite. As a matter of fact, I saw them here in Oceanside last month with Tone Toni Tony and Jon B. Bryan was waaaaaay out of shape and could barely sing. The other 2 (Sam left the group) kept looking at him like he was going to explode. So sad. He has problems for sure.
