I spoke to a couple of my radio friends who were granted one of the very rare five minute interviews with Britney Spears that she has been giving to promote her new record and Vegas gig. Apparently the five minute interviews are useless and two of the three stations I spoke to said they can't even use what they have because it is so messed up and they don't want to make Britney look bad because it is like an adult beating up a kid in a playground. It doesn't look or sound right. The rules were simple. Three questions and you could talk to Britney about Vegas or her album. It had to me something work related. No personal stuff. If you ask about her album it comes out mechanical but it is Britney's voice, but you have to ask the question phrased like this: "I heard you have a new album coming out." That she can answer. If you ask her about her album phrased like, "How did you come up with the title of your new album?" the answer paralyzes Britney.
All of the radio people say there is no way that Britney can sing live for two hours at a show. It will be impossible. "She can barely speak," one said. "How is she going to be able to sing for two hours? I will be surprised if she does more than stand in place while people move around her to make it look likeshe is dancing."
We get it. She is mentally ill. Way to keep kicking the dog.

ReplyDeleteI listen to several radio shows who all interviewed Britney. One station had a lot of awkward silences. No matter how much prompting, they couldn't get Britney to understand the questions or speak coherently.

DeleteI have to agree with the over medicating I had some prob after I had my daughter with ppd and I was so over medicated ur head is just white noise. I couldn't think an when I tried to go on a bike ride wit hubby fell tryin to get in the bike. There is no reason for anyone to be medicated like that whoever is in charge of her dr visits and meds doesn't care enough to change it. This disturbs me so much I feel for her.

@lotta I saw the saw the same interview. She answered the 'Britney Jean' naming question just fine.

If she has schizophrenia, that particular disease includes cognitive dulling as time goes on--and that is not even counting the medications. Some people with schizophrenia cannot even hold more than the most basic of conversations.

So yeah, I can get where she might be a bit confused about what she can or cannot say, and if asked a question she wasn't scripted to answer of course she won't say anything.

Watching the video for "work bitch", it doesn't appear that Brit can dance either. Very stiff and full of posing. Meds should not jack you up that much and docs usually try to treat mental illness in a way that leaves the person functional. It makes me wonder if her handlers are keeping her zombified so that they have full control.

They might go see Cher or Bette but I can't see them spending a chunk of change to go see Brit's show. But it is the lesser of 2 evils. Schizophrenia is genetic - you have to have the genes in the first place.
And schizophrenia usually manifests in the 20s, sometimes sooner, a lot sooner, TLC had a show where they diagnosed a 5 year old with it and then her baby brother a few years later, how's that for genetic roulette, both parents are fine.

DeleteIn a case I've seen this week, it was a woman in her 50's, who following trauma and acute opioid abuse, had two drug induced psychoses. Only after continuing symptoms for the past 6 months, has she had her diagnosis changed from schizoid affective, to schizophrenic.
We never she her with her kids anymore. not long ago there were plenty of shots of.them together, where are they?

As for her medications what none of you understand her doctors also are monitored by the courts and all her medications are listed with the courts and the dosages. The pharmacy she goes to sends a printout ecery 3 months to the court showing her meds. At a hearing the judge will ask them about any of the differences they note as well if they see a change in medications and the doctors better have answers. Also pertinent notes for her record will be turned over for the file.
Also I am betting she is having to have blood tests to check her levels on certain medications as my son does to show they are being taken and to also see if they need to be adjusted.
She might not have been able to talk worth a damn if she did not sleep the night before stressing the interview or many other reasons a bipolar doesn't sleep and the next day they are a mess from "fighting" their sleeping meds and then having to take their morning meds on top of it. Same with the dancing or just have a day where you just did not want to do something.
Lisa relax it's gonna be okay. For the record, she went on national television and cryed her ass off because she wanted to take her boo-boos back to Louisiana. And further more that interview pre-dates her psychotic beak which caused her to lose her kids!!!!
