Boy Meets World Wedding Weekend

Your childhood got married this weekend. On Saturday Danielle Fishel married her longtime boyfriend Tim Belusko in what some are calling the world's quickest wedding ceremony. Her guests had barely settled in when it was over and the real partying took place.

Meanwhile, yesterday Rider Strong got married to his long time girlfriend and apparently didn't know that because Danielle had married the day before that he was going to have a low turnout. "I am missing some of my Boy Meets World family. That was my fault, [Danielle] chose the date first."

Rider went with the weekend theme thing instead of just a quick ceremony and party. Everyone who attended camped out in an Oregon forest and people slept in bunks.

And he is surprised by the low turnout? I'd say he's lucky the bride showed.

  12. No way was it an accident that the weddings were the same weekend. Even if you aren't talking to your former co-worker, you would know as soon as you got RSVPs and a lot of your guests were declining because of a wedding the same weekend.

And Patty -- there's nothing wrong with a weekend wedding camping out in the forest. It's not that uncommon here in the Pacific Northwest, where people enjoy the outdoors and the scenery is much more beautiful than some $4000 venue.

  13. The campout actually sounds fun. Moreso if there was a lot of booze involved. :)
