Blind Items Revealed
March 18, 2013
This A list mostly television actor has a movie coming out. Well, it was coming out, but there needs to be some reshoots and our actor refuses to do it and has said that he won't do any press for the movie either because he feels like everyone on the crew disrespected him. Well, if he was not such a crap actor they would not have laughed at him everytime he tried to a scene.
Ashton Kutcher/Jobs (and now you know why it sucked)
That's what the producers get for getting such a douche to play the pivotal role.
ReplyDeleteYou really expect us to believe crew members were actually laughing at him during his scenes?
ReplyDeleteThe movie did suck.
At least that's the end of his film career as an actor--now if we can get him some Tv flops.
ReplyDeleteThat is funny, getting heckled by the crew and turning into pissy 5 year old.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think doing reshoots if necessary would be a contractual obligation...?
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, did the movie portray Jobs to be an insufferable mental douche or did they attempt to humanize him?
ReplyDeleteAs a non-Mac person, I tend to snicker a little whenever the idolatry turns up about Jobs. I mean, Ashton tried Jobs's diet before the film and ended up being hospitalized for pancreatic failure! There's a joke for that, I imagine, but hey. For me, Ashton brought too much humanity and gravitas for a portrayal of Steve Jobs.
ReplyDelete@figgy They probably already used them up. Ashy was not that bad in it. I don't know who else could have done better given how much his appearance gave to the character.
ReplyDeleteIf the crew disrespected him, it's his own fault. He's never been anything but a talentless punk with pretensions and delusions of grandeur.
ReplyDeleteI knew why it would suck when Ashton Kutcher was casted
ReplyDeleteOoooh. This is interesting. Ashton sounds like such a dumbass. Why wouldn't you put in the extra effort to help improve the film? I can't stand it when people half-ass it in this world.
ReplyDeleteSo, was Steve Jobs really a douchebag? Am I going to be slaughtered for asking that? Some of my family members are so pro-Apple and are always raving about him and Apple products. Disclaimer: I do own an Iphone and Ipad, but I'm not one of these nut jobs who think they are the second coming of God. Just some groovy gadgets.
You would think this film would be huge with all of the Steve Jobs love in the world.
If you take your biopic seriously you don't hire this clown just because he maybe can look like a young Steve Jobs.
ReplyDeleteEspecially after The Social Network and Jesse Eisenberg did a brilliant job playing Mark Zuckerberg.
Reshoots should be in the contract.
Mark Zuckerberg is a jerk and Jesse portrayed him as he was IMO.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't noticed being a douchebag seems to increase your chances of success in this world. Especially in highly competitive fields. Dog eat dog.
Ashton should be used to laughter at any attempts he makes to "perform".
ReplyDeleteRobert said it best. Jobs was a charlatan at best. Original is more than color coding.
ReplyDeleteJobs was a cunt. Research it.
ReplyDeleteSteve Jobs was a douchebag too. Just look at how he treated his illegitimate daughter's mother. It was only in later years did he become glorified. He totally retooled his image. Asshat playing him was brilliant casting. One douchebag playing another douchebag.
ReplyDeleteWhat I want to know is if his death was AIDS related. There has been a long standing rumor that it was.
Woz - Steve Wozniak was the tech whizz, Jobs was a marketer. Kutcher's a cunt.
