Blind Items Almost Revealed

June 21, 2012

It has been a sad past few months for this A list movie actor. And let me start right off by saying this is not John Travolta and the actor I'm talking about does not even like John Travolta. In fact, one time they actually shoved each other. So, there you go. Our actor is A list. Only movies, although he seems like the kind of guy that if you gave him something fun or really good he would do television. He isn't a snob at all. He does though hold a secret that he thinks about every second of the day and that is his sexuality. He is married. Been so for awhile. Even before he met his wife though he met his best friend and his lover. The pair have been through everything together. he has generally worked on our actor's movies and is never far from his side. They lived in the same city and the wife knew about and accepted the relationship. It was great for her too because she had her own interests and our actor is a great guy and great provider. This was the perfect man for our actor. Never flashy. never wanting to be out in the open. Totally accepting of everything. On film sets around the world they were inseparable. Press tours? He was always waiting back at the hotel for our actor. Those were their times. Even though they lived in the same city, they rarely met up. They rarely saw each other. It was all about their time away. When they did meet in the city, the boyfriend would dress as a meter reader or even a Jehovah's Witness one time. But those encounters were rare.

About a year ago, the boyfriend got sick. Our actor put as much of his life on hold as he could and when he could not be with the boyfriend, his wife was. Together they saw him everyday and made sure he was always comfortable. He died about ten days ago. I wish the actor all the best and hope this maybe sets him free in many ways to show the world who he is and that it's ok and everyone will still love you.

A tenuous connection to Pierce Brosnan

  1. I remember this blind. It was sad then and sadder now. I can't remember who the popular guess was then: Hugh Jackman, maybe?

  2. meh, almost recycled again

  3. Hugh's connection with Pierce could be the fact that Hugh was being considered for the role of James Bond after Pierce was done with it.

  4. But isn't the man considered to be his lover his former partner which also is not keeping a low profile still very much alive. The better question is who has pulled back on his schedulei in 2012, 2011. Not Jackman

And it also assumes they live in the same city. Jackman and his family bounce around from Australia to LA to NY to film locations. I think it is not Hugh, more like someone who is always LA based and someone more unlikely. There is more than one woman willing to live in that kind of arrangement.

  5. You guys are barking up the wrong tree with Hugh. There are two second-hand accounts on ONTD about him cheating on his wife with women which I find more convincing than people guessing that he's a closeted homosexual with no evidence.

  6. Interesting stumbled on the Data Loungers discussing this today - some of them think it is Ewan McGregor???

    1. @Tina - There is another site where people discuss CDAN blinds?

  7. @Tina - I remember this blind and at one point thinking it was Ewen. But technically he's done TV (his documentary Series' with Charley Boorman).

  8. He's not Jackman : John Palermo his former business partner and rumored boyfriend is not dead and in more Palermo lived with Jackman and his family in the same house in NY
And there is no connection with Pierce Brosnam

  9. Greg Kinnear or Michael Keaton.

  16. Ewan is a known skirt-chaser - but Damon is the DM today...

  17. Ewan was also in an episode of ER so its not him

  18. sorry, but this really sounds like bullshit.

  19. enty got shit for outing celebs for their sexuality and being sex abuse victims, so now he is just giving strong hints instead of outright naming them.

It doesn't make it better, Enty.

    smh

  20. I'm not of the mind that Hugh is gay at all.

But this is a very sad blind, and I've got nothing against either the actor or the wife, instead of touched by their love and commitment to whoever died.

What if it was Colin Firth? Both in Mamma Mia... He's been married since 1997. And he has played gay men in several roles.

  22. @Texas Rose Datalounge is a gay gossip site which I've stumbled over. There's sometimes some really funny stuff being said but an awful lot of mysogyny, racism and outright hatred for straight people. It can be entertaining to read occasionally but not for the faint hearted.

It's not a site about blinds, just any topic anyone wants to start.

  23. Munch -

Most of the bigoted comments are made by randoms who post on Datalounge, ie. exactly the kind who post on every anonymous site. That said, you sound like exactly the type of daytripping, entitled nitwit who is resented and mocked. Lots of the OTT anti-frau comments are to chase off idiots like you. (Especially the ones who go there 'defending' their favourite closet cases like Hugh Jackman.)

And if you have the nerve to go to a gay site and cluck about the "hatred" of straight people, you are truly an ass. When gays start, say, beating to death straights for being straight, THEN you can complain. Otherwise, STFU and remember you enjoy heterosexual privilege every day of your life.

ps. And oh, dear - the word is spelled "misogyny."

  24. Can't be Greg Kinnear, remember "Talk Soup"? Besides, I've never heard such things about him and we're from the same town.

    ReplyDelete
  25. John Travolta absolutely got into a shoving match with another actor. I remember reading it. "John Travolta shoving match" even comes up after typing John Travolta sh. So unless we're discussing a shove in a movie or a playful shove, there was a listed, public incident where he fought with another actor and it's been taken down.

  26. I’m a tad over the Hugh Jackman is gay discussion.  He seems like the sort of guy that would own his life, whatever shape it took.  Regardless of that opinion however, I’m not overly interested in people’s sexuality unless they intentionally make it a topic of discussion (or I’m going to be sleeping with them) – and isn’t that uniform disinterest true equality?  Anyhow, I reckon Deborah Furness would snap me like a twig if I tried anything on Hugh, so I don’t think it matters ;)

  27. Dont think Hugh is 100% gay, but him and his wife might fool around with other people. I don't get why ppl are obsessed with this either.

Daniel Day Lewis (also Irish) has been on a hiatus for the last 9 months which leaves me wondering, although he has children with different women so seems a bit unlikely.

  28. If it isn't Wolverine, how about Will Smith?

I'm a lesbian and I'd just like to say, everything you said offended me. Don't presume you represent gay people. I've been a victim of the hatred you speak of, but I would never lash out at someone the way you did. Don't be such a bully and don't condescend because you found a spelling error. Learn the meaning of tolerance and respect others.

    @Munch

Ignore the rage case. You're entitled to your opinion.

  30. @Gytrash - Colin's most iconic role is as Mr Darcy in the 1995 BBC TV version of Pride & Prejudice.

This one is very sad and the clues odd, the only A list actor that really works w/in the parameters is DDL?

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think this is Robin Williams.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Why go apeshit on Munch? I didn't see anything offensive.

    ReplyDelete
  33. James Read! I kid, I kid, hmmmm this actually sounds like Pierce Brosnan's life! He's been married forever, but to two different women.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Still think this could be Hugh Jackman, as it was rumored that he and Travolta did NOT get along during the filming of that crapfest Swordfish.

    ReplyDelete
  35. There is more than one unknown on here, just so you know. I kind of see why the other unknown said what he did. Gays have been the victims of hatred and violence since before the time of Jesus. It's got to be upsetting when you read certain things, and you see the person not even getting it. Not at all. How about all of us quit judging anyone? We'll start there and see how it goes, anyone game?

  36. @unknown (the angry one): uh??? You re the one who sounds bigoted, foaming at the mouth.
Homophobic and straightphobic are the same crap in my book. There are ways to connect and relate with like-minded people without dissing the non like-minded. Building an identity on exclusion and/or elitism is not the right way ...
Of course, homophobia is spiteful and an issue bigger than the opposite but two wrongs don t make one right. It s just perpetuating an endless circle of bigotry.

  40. reckon Nicolas Cage. The tenuous connection to Pierce Brosnan is that Cage was tipped to appear in Polanski's The Ghost with him... but didn't in the end. And Cage seems like a good sport and not a snob
Oh, and the original title for the Polanski movie was The Ghost Writer.... Cage was in the Ghost Rider... uh-huh... i do think this is Cage.
Perhaps Cage and Travolta grew a dislike of each other during Face-off....
